Mother Nature's Winter Rhythm - A Delightful Mindful Story
by Helen Hansen
Mother Nature is a lively, joyful lady always giving and sharing with everyone. Ma Nat's children, the earth's elements are similar to her, they love to care for all the beings in the world. Beamer, the sun, gives warmth and growth. Skye, the air, gives good health and helps clear up misunderstandings. Ripple the water washes away hurt and fear. Rocky, the earth, provides a hearty meal everyday and reminds us that life is an adventure! Meanwhile, at the edge of the forest, the little sunflowers are so worried, something strange is happening to them ...you see, this is their first winter. Ma Nat comforts them and along with her children, she explains why the season of hibernation is important for the mind, body and soul. By the end of the day the sunflowers realise that 'when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change'. * You will find the Delightful Mindful Stories Playlist on Helen Hansen's profile page.
