The solar plexus along with bundles of nerves are in and around the small intestine area. The health of the small intestine is reflective of how the digestion processes food and how the mind processes experiences. If you struggle with bloating, stomach cramps, or a 'knot in the stomach' then you will benefit from using this affirmation regularly. Gently breathe into the gut while repeating the affirmation, aka conscious intention, in this short meditation. For added benefit, you can physically stretch out the small intestine while in an upward dog position.

Find a comfortable position where the spine is straight,

Take a few gentle in-breaths,

Exhaling and letting go of that which has been on your mind up until now,

Allowing all the muscles in the body to ease outwards,

To relax down and allow emotions to be peaceful.

One more deep breath in and on the next exhalation,

Gently repeat,

I feel the warmth of joy in my body and my soul,

I feel the warmth of joy in my body and my soul,

Exhale,

Let that go.
