Welcome to this contemplation on dispersing the path.
This is connected to the hexagram number 59 of the I Ching's teaching.
And before we move into receiving messages directly from the I Ching.
Let's take a few moments to prepare,
To quieten,
And to arrive.
Into presence.
There's something you need to do for yourself.
Make yourself comfortable.
Or to support yourself in relaxing.
Then please do that now.
And then.
.
.
Soften the facial muscles.
Relax any tightness in the head.
Anywhere else in the body.
Shake your hands.
Shake your chest,
Your belly.
Your feet.
And send gentleness to those areas that need it.
Gently breathing in and out.
Allowing your breath to guide you.
And slowing down the breath just a little bit more.
Creating some distance from any thoughts,
Any distractions.
And bringing your hands to heart center.
Let's breathe in gently here.
Feeling the heart area relaxing.
While intentionally.
Keeping the heart open.
Open to receiving.
Guidance from the I Ching and also guidance from your own inner knowing.
This is a participatory experience.
And so we are going to set the intention to trust.
First,
What we are guided to respond to.
And trusting that our awareness is guiding us in the right way.
You can repeat with me or simply affirm at the end.
I trust.
The wisdom I am receiving.
From this ancient teaching.
Along with my own inner guidance.
These are all for my highest good.
And for the greater good of all.
Breathe in and affirm I trust.
Exhale and let go of any and all expectations.
Simply notice now what stands out for you in the messages that come through.
Notice your responses.
And do know that not everything may resonate with you.
Maybe just one piece,
Or maybe more.
So on that note,
Let's begin and let's look at the elements.
Of hexagram 59.
Where we see wind is gently blowing above water.
And when wind moves above water.
It disperses water.
And it disperses what is in the water.
So if there have been any blockages.
Or any contamination in the water.
The wind and its movement,
Its intentional movement.
And help.
To clear the water.
Another description that can help us to feel into this imagery.
Is during the time of winter.
Water can freeze and so the ice at the end of winter and early spring slowly starts to dissolve.
Because of the warm breezes that come through at that time.
Just like the hardness of the water.
Can be made gentle and fluid once more,
So too can The Hots.
And minds of people.
So apply this to your life right now.
Is there anywhere.
.
.
Where you have been rigid.
In thinking,
In behavior.
This may be intentionally or not.
And contemplate for yourself now.
What gentle breeze can you bring in?
To loosen up anything that has become fixed.
Sometimes the awareness of one's fixations or rigid ways.
The awareness is enough to start the transformational process.
Other times we need to nudge it along and help it with some movement.
And some physical movement.
And often work wonders for them.
Dancing can be quite an effective way to ease into a lighter spirit.
And it is often spiritual support that one needs in times when The fixations are very strong.
And hard like that frozen water.
At such times,
Spiritual intervention can be supportive,
In other words,
Seeking guidance.
A spiritual teacher or counsellor,
One who you can trust to guide you and support you during times of dispersing of the old.
This could be old ways of thinking that have been with one for decades,
Or it might be a new habit that has been recently acquired.
But it is very important that this takes place in order for the next step.
Of your journey to unfold in harmony.
This dissolving of old structures.
Old patterns.
Makes their energy then available.
For new ways,
New projects.
New opportunities.
So this dispersing is clearing the way.
It's clearing out old fears.
It's getting rid of illusions and obstacles.
It's about scattering dark thoughts.
Judgment.
Misunderstanding.
So if there are others.
Who you have grudges against.
Now is the time to clear the path.
And then.
.
.
You can step into the river of life.
With purpose,
With knowing,
With trust that what you move forward into is aligned.
With your essence and your soul's destiny.
But now,
First.
.
.
Is the time to dissolve what needs to be dissolved.
What is the next step you can take towards dispersing old habits,
Destructive ways of thinking or being?
Trust your gardens.
And put into action.
With commitment and persistence.
A way of being that is more in tune with you.
In closing,
Words from the I Ching say Wind blowing over water disperses it.
Dissolving it into foam and methyl.
This suggests that when a man's vital energy is dammed up within him,
Gentleness serves to break up the silence.
And dissolve the blockage.
May your blockages be easily dissolved.
And may you remain aligned with your truth.
