Welcome and thank you for joining me.
For this Transmission on Delight.
My name is Helen.
And in this teaching,
We are receiving guidance from the Tao.
Through the I Ching known as the Book of Changes.
And it's connecting to a particular hexagram of yin yang frequency And this particular hexagram is number 58.
Let's take a few breaths together as we relax the body.
Brighten the mind.
And bring ourselves into presence.
Breathing slowly in.
Change the R.
Slowly in.
And out.
And find your rhythm.
That feels in harmony with your whole system right now.
Relaxing your muscles.
The body,
Of the face.
And feeling your whole body.
Expanding.
Feel your energy body expanding as well and opening.
And as we move towards setting the intention of trust.
Connect with the sense of trust that is deep within you.
Within the physical body.
Within the spiritual self.
Within the whole self.
Connecting now to the heart center.
As we repeat together.
I try.
The wisdom I am receiving from this ancient teaching.
Along with my own inner wisdom.
These are aligned with my highest good.
And for the greater good of all.
Breathe in trust and exhale now expectations.
Keeping the body relaxed and quiet.
The mind open and the heart trusting.
When this particular transmission comes around for you.
The I Ching says that this is an auspicious time.
We see the image and the element of the lake.
Appearing twice.
In this hexagram.
In the lower and the upper trigram.
A double leg.
Sometimes also called double mists.
So as you connect now.
With your images,
Memories,
Feelings of the lake,
And perhaps as well,
Mists on lakes.
Notice where your mind wanders.
And what part of the leg do you connect to at the moment?
Is it the water?
Is it being on the leg?
Is it being next to the leg?
Are you noticing?
The nature.
Animal life,
The bird life.
The water life.
You noticing the scenery.
Are you noticing other people?
And what time of day is it that you are at this lake right now?
Notice how the light is falling.
Notice what you are doing.
Or how you are being.
And what emotions are present with you.
Now,
As we move to receiving the I Ching's translation of the lake,
Notice similarities,
Notice differences,
And allow them to be with you for awareness.
Traditionally,
The lake is seen as an experience of joy.
It brings so much harmony and delight by being in its presence,
By connecting to the wonders of nature,
To the beauty all around.
And to the union,
Union with life.
With all of life.
At the lake,
We get to connect with so many layers and levels of nature.
We get to connect with the self,
With the divine,
And with others,
For it is a place where people frequent.
It draws people in to sit and contemplate,
To play,
To picnic,
To commune,
To exchange ideas around and it can inspire creativity and so all these aspects we are asked to enjoy and cultivate.
If you are already doing that then honor the fact that you are in tune and this is the perfect timing for that.
If that is not yet happening.
Know that you are invited to purposefully Bring in moments of joy and harmony,
Bliss and delight throughout your day.
You are reminded to connect meaningfully with others and be an inspiration for others through your words,
Action.
Inspire loving conversations.
Inspire others with your words of upliftment.
Inspire yourself through music,
Art,
Beauty.
And see the world.
Every morning when you wake up.
Before you go to sleep at night.
See the world of abundance that is with you.
That is around every moment of the day.
The abundance of air,
Of water.
Of nature.
Of choices,
Choices of thoughts.
Choices of action.
And let your choices be guided by purity of thought.
Bye.
Loving Intense.
One of the images that the I Ching's translations connect to this teaching of lake above lake,
Mists above mists,
Is one of a joyful dancer.
Even if we are not the ones dancing,
Simply watching a joyful dancer or listening to a joyful song moves one.
Stirs the hearts.
And bring a smile to one's lip.
And inspire in so many ways when we allow ourselves to be open to such beautiful inspiration.
So how can you be more open to life right now?
To yourself?
Your gifts to others and to what each moment has to offer.
And contemplate as well.
What small change you can make in your life.
What can you add?
What can you bring in?
To nourish the essence of delight.
Words from the I Ching say,
The wise man encourages the conversation of friends and the stimulus of their common practice.
Mutual and reciprocal influence help bring reward and happiness.
The hexagram does not wholly exclude the presence or possibility of adversity.
But its concern is to emphasize the all-powerful and ultimately all-conquering human faculty of choosing to live joyfully no matter the circumstances.
As you contemplate these words,
Just notice which ones ring true for you.
And how they apply to your life right now.
And what is the themed message for you from this transmission?
Hold this transmission in your heart with the intention to connect with it regularly.
May your heart be joyful.
May your view be bright.
And may you choose to connect with delights.
