Friendships are important in life.
We meet people who change us or we change them.
Life changes and we grow and develop and sometimes that means that our friendships change too.
We may have to let go of a dear friend who is no longer aligned with us or perhaps a friend has let go of us and that can feel like rejection and it can hurt.
Trust that everything happens for a reason.
In this affirmation meditation I will be guiding you through some affirmations for letting go of friendships.
I will say the affirmation out loud.
I'll give you space to repeat it in your mind and we will go through these affirmations twice.
Before we begin please make sure you are comfortable either seated or lying down.
Just take one deep breath in.
Hold at the top and exhale.
Release.
Let's begin.
I release these friendships with love.
I am grateful for what I learned.
I wish all the best to my past friends.
I forgive everyone who may have hurt me.
I love myself unconditionally.
I am my own best friend.
I welcome in new friends who I can grow with.
I close the door on past friendships with ease.
I easily let go and move on.
I trust this was meant to happen.
I appreciate the happy memories.
I spend time focusing on myself.
I nurture myself.
I let go and make space for the new.
My heart feels lighter.
I am grateful for those in my life now who love me.
Thank you universe for bringing these people into my life.
I learned the lesson and now I'm ready to let go.
