
Daily Check In: Sensing And Scanning Energy
In this track, you will be guided on how to sense your energy field and scan it. It is normal to have some fluctuations in energy, so it is recommended that you do this practice regularly to get a feel for what your energy is usually like, this can help you to be aware of how you are on a day-to-day basis.
Transcript
Start by rubbing the palms of your hands together very quickly to ruffle up your energy field.
Notice how you experience this warmth,
Tingling,
Static.
This is the base which you're starting from and the control against which you'll be noticing what happens in the rest of your body.
Now,
Straight after doing that,
Hold your hands a few inches apart and try bringing them together slowly.
Is there a point at which you notice the energy fields of each hand begin to interact with each other?
Experiment with this.
Once you've got that feeling,
Again,
Just notice what it's like and also notice the distance at which you get those feelings.
When you're happy with this,
You can start to scan your body using your hands.
Rub your hands together as often as you like to get that slightly ruffled energy field from which to compare it.
I would recommend scanning down the whole body from head to toe within your reach rather than concentrating on just one area because this gives us a really sound basis for comparison.
Again at this time,
We really are just noticing what it is like.
Are the sensations uniform?
Do they stay the same temperature or is the tingling the same intensity?
Is the distance always the same or are there some places that you have to move closer or further away?
Notice any areas which are different and move on.
Don't try to assign meaning and don't worry.
It's perfectly natural that different parts of your energy system will be slightly different.
At the moment,
All you're doing is observing.
Perhaps you've practiced this a few times at different times of day and in different circumstances before or after eating.
For example,
When you're tired,
When you feel full of beans,
You start to get an understanding of the kinds of patterns you might observe in your energy body normally.
So that's the basic practice.
