Hello my beautiful soul,
Welcome to this meditation to declutter your mind.
This is a sure practice to utilize when you're feeling overwhelmed,
When your thoughts are getting a little bit too much and you just want to find a little moment of calm in your mind.
Let's get started.
So take a deep inhale and exhale.
You want to be seated,
You want to have your arms outstretched,
Your palms facing upwards.
You can close your eyes if you feel safe to do so today,
Otherwise just gaze on the floor in front of you.
Go ahead and focus on your breath for a moment.
Take a deep inhale and exhale it all out,
Let it go,
Whatever doesn't serve you.
We're going to take an inhale to the count of four,
Three,
Two,
One hold it at the top and exhale four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Hold it and exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
One more time inhale four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Hold it and let it out for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Take a deep inhale and exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Hold it for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Hold it to your natural rhythm and find your center.
From the space at the center of your heart we're going to slowly travel all the way up into your mind and I want you to notice as you move your attention up towards your mind do your feelings change?
Do you feel less calm,
Less peaceful?
Does the mind feel crowded right now?
And just notice what you notice about what's going on today,
Right this moment,
Maybe you had a busy day,
Maybe there's too much on your to-do list,
Maybe there's other people talking too much,
Maybe it's your own thoughts,
Just be the observer for a second.
How does this busy mind make you feel in your body?
Try to notice any tension that it's causing,
The busyness of the mind.
Maybe it's your jaw,
Are you clenching your jaw?
Make sure you unclench,
Relax your jaw.
Maybe you have tension in your shoulders,
Make sure you drop them,
Let it go,
Let it go.
Feel the seat on your chair drop heavily on your chair,
Feel the earth sustaining you,
Feel the weight of your body on your seat.
Wherever you notice some tension,
Send a little release,
Send a little breath in and out and release it.
We're going to move further up into the mind until we come to the door,
To the entrance door of your mind.
And once you're ready,
I want you to open the door and step in and notice what you notice.
What does it look like in here?
Is there a lot of clutter?
Is it an open door or is it an outer space,
Outside space?
If it is an outside space,
Is there,
What's the weather like?
Is it windy?
Is it cloudy?
Is it stormy?
If it is an inside space,
Is there clutter?
Is there dust?
What does it look like?
All of those thoughts,
How are they translating in your mind?
What does this busyness look like in there?
I want you to notice how at the center of the floor,
There's a little button that you can press that opens a drainage.
This drainage is connected all the way down,
Down,
Down into the center of the earth and anything that is flushed down through this drainage is going to be given back to the earth to be purified and released and turned into beautiful high vibrational energy.
We're going to allow any clutter,
Anything that is happening in your mind space,
We're going to allow all this busyness,
All this noise to go down,
To be flushed down this drain and be given to the earth to take care of.
On the count of three,
We're going to go and press the button and I want you to visualize all this busyness being flushed down.
So one,
Two,
Three,
Press,
Press the button.
See how this drainage opens the center of the floor and with a magnetic pull,
Every thought that is not serving you is being flushed down,
Pulled into the center of the earth to be cleansed,
Transmuted,
Purified.
Every thought that is not helpful,
Every intrusive thought,
Whatever they look like,
Maybe you're visualizing them as thoughts,
Maybe you're visualizing them as things in your room,
Maybe you're visualizing them as leaves in your outdoor space being carried by the wind and being flushed down this cord,
This drainage.
All the overthinking,
All the pressure,
All of the noise from other people's words,
Let it all be flushed down,
Let it all go,
Give it back to the earth.
And as all these thoughts go all the way down,
Down,
Down,
The earth takes them and transmutes them all into high vibrational energy.
The more you let them go,
The more your mind becomes spacious and peaceful,
Let the earth take them away for you,
Let them all be flushed down,
Let them all go,
See them sinking down into the drainage until they reach the center of the earth and they transmute.
You don't even have to see them reach in the center of the earth,
You can simply see them falling away,
Being flushed down and your mind space becoming free.
Once you feel like the space is clear,
You can set the intention for any thought that is unhelpful to be automatically released down into this drainage for your mind to be kept free and peaceful.
Take a deep inhale here and exhale,
Feel the space in your mind,
Clear,
Fresh,
A spacious ambience with a light breeze,
With the windows open,
Fresh air,
Peace and relaxation in your mind.
You can stay here and enjoy the peace,
The quietness of your mind for a few moments,
Or you can start slowly coming back.
Slowly come back into your body,
Wiggle your toes,
Your fingers,
Leave your mind spacious and fresh and go back to your day with a little bit more space for yourself,
With a nervous system a bit more relaxed.
