Hello,
Let's get ready to relax.
So lie down somewhere comfy,
Maybe on your bed,
And close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
And then gently breathe out through your mouth.
And another deep breath in through your nose,
And then slowly breathe out through your mouth.
And as you breathe out,
Can you feel your whole body becoming loose and relaxed?
And after a few more goes,
You can gradually let your breathing return to normal.
And now I'd like you to imagine that you find yourself at the top of some large wooden steps that wind down in front of you.
And as you slowly walk down each step,
You begin to feel even more relaxed.
And as you reach the bottom of the steps,
You notice the sound of the waves and seagulls up above.
And as you look around,
You can see this lovely beach in front of you.
You can see miles of yellow sand and the big beautiful blue sea.
And as you walk towards the sea,
You can feel the soft warm sand beneath your feet.
And when you get near to the sea,
You can see the sunlight sparkling on the surface of the waves.
And up above in the sky,
You notice two seagulls flying around and calling to each other as they glide gracefully across the sky.
And all around there are people relaxing and enjoying the seaside.
There are many other children playing in the sand and you can see a girl flying a rainbow coloured kite.
And you watch the kite as it soars up and down in the sky and flutters in the wind high above.
You love watching the kite move around against the blue sky and you feel so happy to be in this very calming and relaxing place by the beautiful sea.
And you find yourself close to the sea now and the sand here feels very wet under your feet and it feels refreshing as the sea water gently rolls over your toes and over the tops of your feet And up and around your ankles before it quickly rushes back into the sea and by your side,
You notice a big sandcastle decorated with brightly coloured seashells.
And as the waves come up the beach,
The moat around the sandcastle fills up with the fresh sea water and then gently hurries back into the sea.
And as you watch this,
You feel so calm and relaxed and higher up the beach on the dry sand behind you,
You can see there is a comfortable beach chair for you to sit down and it's the perfect size for you.
And you take a few steps and sit down in the chair and close your eyes and as you sit in the chair and relax,
More and more,
I'd like you to focus on the sounds around you,
The sounds of the sea and the waves gently crashing on the shore.
You feel so safe and calm here in this magical place and I'd like you to take a deep breath in and then out and as you breathe out,
Breathe all your cares and worries away,
Just let them go.
And I'll leave you for a moment to enjoy this wonderful relaxing feeling.
And now as you hear these magical words,
I want you to repeat them with me and know that they are exactly how you feel now,
