Welcome to this creative mindfulness meditation recording which has been designed to help you connect with a feeling of presence and peace and to free yourself from any worries or fears.

The best place to listen is lying down on a bed or a couch at a time when you won't be disturbed and for full effect I recommend you listen with headphones.

And before we start,

I encourage you to stay with my voice during this meditation rather than falling into a deep trance.

But if you find your mind wandering,

Not to worry,

Just acknowledge your thoughts without judgement and guide your awareness back to the area that we are focusing on.

And if you do happen to fall into trance at any time,

This is also fine and you will still benefit from the mindfulness session.

Our minds are designed to think and our thoughts are perfectly natural,

But this recording will help you to almost go beyond your thoughts and become the observer,

The silent still observer,

With no judgement.

And so as the music begins to fade away,

You can close your eyes softly and make yourself comfortable and allow your mind to become calm and still.

Any cares or worries can drift away now as this is your time to just relax and be.

Now begin to focus your attention on your breathing without changing anything,

Simply follow the gentle flow of air as you inhale and exhale.

Be with each breath in the moment for its full duration.

Just a gentle rise and fall of your chest and stomach with each breath.

Now as you breathe in,

Feel the air flowing into your nose or mouth,

To the back of your throat,

Expanding your lungs.

And as you breathe out,

Feel your body soften,

Releasing any tension.

Allow your body to feel more relaxed and more peaceful with each breath.

Enjoy the simplicity of this moment.

And whenever you feel tense,

Anxious or stressed,

Simply use your breath to anchor yourself to the present moment.

Now bring your attention to your face and feel any tension naturally dissolve away.

Be aware of any tightness in the crown of your head and just let it go.

Notice the tiny muscles around your eyes and feel any tension drift away.

Now focus on your jaw,

Allowing it to relax with your teeth apart,

Releasing any tension.

And now move your awareness to your shoulders and into your upper arms,

Your elbows,

Forearms and wrists.

Sense the back of your hands,

Your palms and your fingers and thumbs.

And notice any feelings or sensations and relax.

Now draw your attention to the back of your shoulders,

Following the arch between your upper back,

Down to your lower back and to your hips.

And this awareness helps you to feel grounded and centered.

Move your focus now to your thighs and down to your knees,

Your calf muscles,

Your shins,

Ankles and feet.

And down to your heels and to your toes,

All the way to the tips of your toes.

And just relax.

You feel centered and balanced.

You feel centered and balanced.

You feel centered and balanced.

Now focus your awareness on your body as a whole and rest for a moment.

Feeling very safe and secure now.

You may even be aware of the energy field around your body,

Sensing its vibration and color.

And as you focus on your whole body and your energy field,

Just acknowledge any feelings or sensations as they come into being and may be passed by.

And imagine any tension,

Fear or stress dissolving away.

Letting go.

Letting go.

.

And now I want you to imagine that you are sitting near a gentle stream on a beautiful warm summer's day.

There is lush green grass all around you and you feel a pleasant refreshing breeze against your skin.

As you sit and enjoy these beautiful surroundings.

And if you ever had any fears around water,

They fade away now as this is a magical healing place.

A place where you feel safe and secure and at peace.

You listen to the sound of the trickling stream as the sun sparkles on the surface of the water.

And the sound of trickling water fascinates you and brings your awareness to the present moment.

It feels like time is standing still.

And as you focus on this beautiful stream,

I want you to pause and connect now with a feeling of gratitude.

Think of your blessings now and just connect with a deep feeling of gratitude.

And as you continue to gaze at the beautiful scenery,

And as you continue to gaze at the water,

You watch the gentle ebb and flow of the stream.

And you notice a few leaves moving along the surface of the water.

And as you watch the leaves moving slowly downstream,

Just notice any thoughts that may come into your mind and as they do,

I want you to mentally place each thought on a single leaf.

As they come into your awareness,

Place your thoughts onto the leaves,

One at a time.

Then watch as they pass by and float along the stream and out of view.

And it doesn't matter if they are happy or sad thoughts or where they've come from,

Simply acknowledge them and let them go.

And there is no need to create any thoughts,

Simply relax and just be in the present moment.

And if a thought comes into your mind,

Simply place it on a leaf and watch it flow downstream,

Out of sight.

And it's good to remember that all thoughts are like this.

They come into being for a time and then they pass.

And any time you need to clear your head of fear or worry,

Just close your eyes and imagine the stream and place any thoughts on the leaves and let them go.

And now I want you to repeat some special affirmations along with me.

And when you say these words,

Really feel them as you say them.

Imagine them washing over you,

Resonating through every part of you.

I feel centred and in the present moment.

I feel peaceful and happy.

I feel peaceful and happy.

I love and respect myself.

I love and respect myself.

And from now on,

You will feel more carefree and in control of your thoughts and feelings.

And you will attract many good things into your life as by being in the moment more often and being present,

You will connect with the unlimited creative universal pool of energy that flows through everything in life.

And by being more connected and aware,

You will naturally draw amazing things towards you.

And you will find that you are often in the right place at the right time,

As you will be in a flow state where true abundance lies.

And as you continue to have more control of your life,

Your confidence and your self-belief will grow stronger.

And you will make good connections with other positive people who have a similar high vibration.

And you will feel happier all the time and attract so much love and happiness into your life,

Easily and naturally.

And now you can drift away in a state of blissful presence.

And the gentle sounds will continue to wash over you.

And the subliminal suggestions for presence and awareness will be absorbed into your consciousness.

And when you naturally wake up from this sleep,

You will feel completely refreshed and relaxed and have a deep sense of peace and well-being inside.

And I wish you all the very best now.
