With an intake of breath,

She welcomed in peace,

Her body swelling with the calmness of the air.

Her worries carried away as she exhaled on the breeze.

And she breathed.

Without a care in the world,

Her body let go.

Her shoulders relaxed and her fists unclothed.

Her jaw softened and her eyes gently closed.

And she breathed.

Her heart started to fill with gratitude and love.

She imagined a bright pink light glowing from within,

Warming her deepest of desires.

And she breathed.

She did not force or bow down to ideals.

And her body stilled and her mind started to clear.

She began to be her again.

She breathed.

All the pressure,

All the expectations,

All the guilt drifted away in her moment of peace.

And she breathed.

Life was a rollercoaster,

But in her breath she knew her place.

In her breath she found her solace and her inner beauty.

In her breath she found her light.

She breathed.
