And welcome to Tinka and Davy's adventure with me,

Georgie.

Today,

Tinka and Davy are going on a Halloween night adventure.

So let's settle down,

Get comfy.

You pulled up your covers?

Remembered your favorite teddy bear?

Are you ready?

Perfect.

So let's take a big,

Deep breath in together.

All the way through your nose and breathing down into your belly.

Ready?

Let's go.

In.

Allowing your belly to get bigger and bigger.

And then breathe out.

And full.

Another breath in through your nose all the way down to your belly.

Let's go.

In.

And another deep breath in through your nose all the way into your belly.

Ready?

Let's go.

There,

Good.

You feeling a little bit more relaxed now?

Well,

Let's join Tinka and Dave on their night time adventure.

It was Halloween night and the moon was round and bright in the sky.

The stars twinkled like tiny lanterns scattered across the velvet darkness.

Poppycat and Mollycat were curled up asleep,

Dreaming softly,

Their paws twitching as they chased dreaming butterflies.

But in the corner of the room,

Two tails began to wag just a little back and forth.

Tinka and Davey were awake and they could feel it,

The soft hum of magic.

The magical cat door began to shimmer,

Its edges glowing with tiny sparkles that danced like fireflies.

It was time.

Tinka and Davey glanced at each other and one excited bark,

One happy tail wag and with a gentle whoosh,

They stepped through the door together.

On the other side,

They landed softly in their moonlit garden.

Everything was glowing.

There were pumpkins smiling with flickering candle grins.

Lanterns hung from branches,

Their orange and gold lights swaying gently in the cool night breeze.

Little ghosts made from floating sheets drifted through the air,

Giggling quietly,

Their laughter as light as the rustling leaves.

Tinka's ears perked up and Davey sniffed the air.

It smelled of toffee apples,

Sweet and sticky and of crunchy leaves fresh from the trees.

The ground felt soft beneath their paws.

They took one slow step forward,

Then another,

Then another,

Tip toe,

Tip toe,

Their paws crunching softly in the golden leaves.

Then suddenly,

Whoosh,

A playful gust of wind swirled around them,

Sending the leaves spinning into the air like tiny orange butterflies.

The leaves twirled,

Circled and shimmered in the moonlight,

Wrapping the dogs in a gentle warm dance.

Woo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo They stood still for a moment,

Feeling the wind brush their fur,

Cool and refreshing.

It whispered secrets through the trees,

Soft little stories about the magic that only Halloween night brings.

The wind began to calm down,

And as it did,

A path appeared,

A winding trail made of glowing pumpkins.

Each pumpkin flickered softly,

One after another,

Like guiding stars.

Shall we follow it?

Asked Tinker.

Davy gave a little nod.

Let's see where it leads.

They padded quietly along the glowing path,

And the world around them shivered with silver light.

Fireflies twinkled above their heads,

Floating lazily like tiny stars that had come down to join the fun.

And as they walked,

They passed friendly Halloween creatures.

There was a hedgehog dressed in a tiny wizard's hat,

A rabbit with bat wings made from leaves,

And a frog wearing a crown made from an acorn top.

Each one smiled and waved,

Whispering softly,

Happy Halloween!

Finally,

The trail led to a pumpkin patch.

It was filled with animals sitting together in a circle.

A sleek black cat with sparkly eyes stretched lazily beside the family of giggling bats,

And an owl wearing a little witch's hat perched on a branch above her eyes,

Wide and kind.

Welcome,

Said the owl in a deep warm voice.

Would you like to join our midnight parade?

Tinker and Davy looked at each other,

Tails wagging fast.

Yes,

Please,

They barked.

The animals lined up.

The cat jingled a tiny silver bell.

The bats fluttered their wings in rhythm,

And the owl began to hum a soft,

Happy tune.

Together,

They began to march,

A midnight parade under the moon.

They danced in circles around the glowing pumpkins.

They jumped through piles of crunchy leaves that flew into the air with every leap.

The fireflies swooped and spun around them,

Forming sparkly shapes,

Hearts,

Stars,

And even a glowing bone,

Just for Davy,

His favourite.

Laughter filled the garden.

Even the winds joined in,

Whirling through the trees with a happy sigh.

After a while,

The music began to slow.

The bats yawned.

The owl fluffed her feathers.

And the cat curled her tail neatly round her paws.

The owl lifted her wings and whispered,

Now it's time to rest.

The night is ready for dreams.

Tinker and Davy lay down on the soft grass,

Their fur warm from dancing.

Above them,

The moon glowed gently,

Surrounded by sleepy clouds drifting slowly past.

The pumpkins flickered quietly,

Their smiles now soft and peaceful.

The air was full of calm magic,

The kind that makes you feel safe,

Cosy,

And loved.

The wind rustled softly through the trees,

And the fireflies dimmed their lights.

All around the garden,

Hushed itself to sleep.

Tinker sighed a happy sigh.

Ahhh!

And Davy's eyes blinked slower and slower,

Until they finally closed.

Let's join Tinker and Davy,

As they drift off to sleep.

And let's take three Halloween night breaths together.

Breathe in the smell of pumpkin spice and autumn leaves.

Feel it swirl around your nose like gentle autumn air.

Breathe out and blow away any spooky worries.

Imagine them floating far,

Far away with the wind.

Breathe in the magic of the moonlight.

Let it fill your chest and tummy with a calm,

Glowing light.

Breathe out and feel safe and warm and cosy.

Snuggle into your bed,

Just like Tinker and Davy curled into the grass.

The cat door shimmered softly in the distance,

Waiting to bring Tinker and Davy home for when morning came.

But for now,

They were right where they belonged,

Dreaming beneath the Halloween moon.

The owl's voice drifted through the air,

Soft as starlight.

Rest now,

Little adventurers.

The magic will wait for you.

And with that,

The garden fell silent.

Except for the gentle sound of breathing and the steady whisper of the wind,

Humming a lullaby for Tinker and Davy's Halloween night.
