Coming into the present moment and connecting with your breathing.

Setting your intention for this practice to bring peace into your heart.

Create a loving atmosphere around you.

To wish all people well.

And to find acceptance for all that is.

During this loving kindness practice you will be guided to access all the love,

Peace,

Acceptance and kindness within you and actively share it with yourself,

People in your life and the entire world.

Begin by taking ten deep intentional breaths.

With each breath feeling your heart opening and softening.

With every breath accessing a deeper sense of peace and acceptance within yourself.

And tapping into your endless supply of compassionate kindness and love.

Embodying that sensation of peace.

Now gently saying the loving kindness mantra towards yourself.

May I be happy.

May I be peaceful.

May I be free from suffering.

May I meet my experience with peace and love.

Extending healing,

Love and well wishes towards yourself.

Now bringing to mind a loved one or a dear friend,

Someone who you care for.

Imagine that the person is present with you now.

And gently saying the loving kindness mantra towards this person.

May you be happy.

May you be peaceful.

May you be free from suffering.

May you meet your experience with peace and love.

Extending healing,

Love and well wishes to this person before letting them go.

Next bringing to mind someone you know of who is suffering or struggling.

This may be someone who you know personally or someone who you've heard about through friends,

Social media,

News or your community.

Imagine that the person is present with you now.

And gently saying the loving kindness mantra towards this person.

May you be happy.

May you be peaceful.

May you be free from suffering.

May you meet your experience with peace and love.

Extending healing,

Love and well wishes to this person before letting them go.

Now bringing to mind a neutral person.

Someone whom you know but do not have strong feelings about.

This could be someone that you work with,

A neighbour,

A member of your extended family or an acquaintance.

Imagine that the person is present with you now.

And saying the loving kindness mantra towards them.

May you be happy.

May you be peaceful.

May you be free from suffering.

May you meet your experience with peace and love.

Extending healing,

Love and well wishes towards this person before letting them go.

This time bringing to mind someone who you find difficult.

Someone with whom you have conflict or a difference of opinion.

Imagine that the person is present with you now.

And gently saying the loving kindness mantra towards this person.

May you be happy.

May you be peaceful.

May you be free from suffering.

May you meet your experience with peace and love.

Extending healing,

Love and well wishes to this person before letting them go.

And finally now connecting with all world beings without exception.

Connecting before you all souls who share the planet with you.
