Welcome to this guided meditation called Travel with the Mind.
Let's begin.
Please get comfortable,
Seated or lay down if you wish.
Closing the eyes,
Thank you.
Let's hold that breath still for 7 seconds now.
Connect to that breath,
Long and smooth.
Let's expand that meditated mind with that therapeutic connection of mind travel.
So in a way kick off those shoes of human everyday life with an element of sheer travel,
Adventure,
Limitless because I choose to flow.
And all the ways we physically do travel by air,
By sea,
By land.
And for some even to the moon.
Let your heart giggle on what that would be like.
A human foot upon the crust of the moon.
Breathe in,
Have a split second or two with that moon.
Travel is normally by air,
By sea and by land.
Let the air run through you from wherever it did came and will go.
And let the eyes physically roll up high inside.
Acknowledge the height of air and sky.
Let the sea cleanse you for salt and water,
Two magic ingredients in life.
And let the eyes now physically roll low as can be,
Towards the sea and its depth.
Let the land heal you,
For land does remain and we can always call that home or a place to visit.
And let the eyes physically come to centre,
Forwards in a way,
Making a home wherever that may be through time.
And learning to flow yourself through travel.
So why don't you do that now and travel all these ways of air,
Sea and land.
Can I connect to the amazing energy that this whole planet gives?
For there are benefits of sometimes looking beyond yourself.
The bigger picture.
Can I resonate with that,
That that lives in the sea or above it?
The air itself that is limitless with skies that touch the universe.
The land,
Our roots and wonderful locations.
Time to catch a free ride and travel the world differently.
With an insight into one of nature's creations,
Whom belongs to a strong connection to sea,
Rides the air and occasionally heads for land.
The wandering albatross,
Also described for its innocence and beauty.
Let's connect first by thinking of your eyes and then the journey looking really with a bird's eye view.
So let's connect you to an interesting sea bird that popped in the head so to speak and spent so much of its life at sea with travel as its companion.
The first six years an albatross does not touch land and is the biggest flying bird in this world.
A white full bodied sea bird with grey and black markings that are masters of soaring flight.
It's nice,
It's a nice feeling to master and be a master of something done so well.
Breathing into masters of soaring flight.
Let your eyes see through the eyes of the albatross and travel high with one.
In fact,
It's the wandering albatross whom even gets its name from Greek mythology.
Sea birds in the genus Diamida in the albatross family.
So wandering refers to Diamidas,
The Greek warrior and his companions after his return from the Trojan war.
According to legend,
Was driven by a storm to Italy and was stranded with his companions who were turned mystically into birds.
An exilam that is Latin for exile or wanderer.
A life at sea indeed.
So travel now as the companion of this wandering bird,
The albatross.
Wandering through the world is all about travel.
Such little energy is used to fly,
Yet up it goes.
And to go up is to feel as light as air.
Connect to lifted.
The winds of the sea are your transport.
The albatross will fly three times around the world each year.
A colossal 120,
000 kilometres.
To the point they simply glide.
Glide all around the oceans of this world to live off.
Let your eyes swallow up,
Three times soaring around earth itself.
Inhale that first breath,
That first lap around the world.
Breathing out the companion of sea and sky blues.
And a second soaring breath in,
Twice around the world.
Breathing out those shades of night blues.
And a third deep breath,
Three times around the world.
Breathing out also shades of day light blue sea air.
And this here enters the existence of a world of blueness.
Fill the eyes with blue.
Feel the calming effect and freedom of blue sea air.
That temperature,
That taste of salt.
And salt is as old as the hills for purifying,
Cleansing,
Preserving.
The albatross is equipped to drink sea water with special glands above the nasal.
Feel the air through that nose and one of our senses too.
So without flapping the wing,
The albatross cruises around 25 miles per hour.
With a wing span measured in meters,
3.
5.
For the height of a six foot human would fit comfortably on just one of its wings.
If you are late or next time you lay down,
Think and feel of an albatross feathered wing.
Like your feathered bed beneath the full length of your body.
Does this wing make you feel small or just the perfect fit of an albatross wing of sheer travel?
Fully adapted to an ocean existence,
Spending that first six years of war without touching land.
They are the largest flying bird in this world.
Without land at times resting of course on a quiet sea surface.
A great thing to do after feeding.
For sometimes they eat so much and become flightless for a while.
Or they rest there for some light shut eye.
And a life span of travel to a mighty 50 years of it in this animal kingdom.
We forget sometimes animals do not touch a human's life span.
For survival is often the key amongst the great outdoors and its elements.
But the albatross has no real predators for they are big,
6 to 12 kilograms and always in flight riding the sea air.
With the ability of locked wing,
With the effect of gliding like a kite.
We can understand and remember flying a kite.
Simply soaring in blue sky from each sunrise and blue oceans to each sunset.
The colours of hot golden sun.
Beautiful creamy rays of sunshine.
What a vision to see and know obstacles in view.
Just the biggest,
Longest sun rays.
Breathe in sun rays the longest you can imagine.
Reflections of sun shine on top of water turning everything so bright.
Consumed in the highest of brilliant whiteness and the amazing full bodied gigantic white clouds in abundance.
Paints a clean healthy picture of the great outdoors.
Clouds that roll with the wind speed.
And the excitement of black clouds of thunder storms.
Thunder storms help to clean the air.
Lightning balances the earth's electricity.
And a chance later for a rainbow.
The rainbows in life collect them all.
And rainbows that journey with that albatross.
The sea,
A constant flow and movement of waves.
Feel that movement for nothing is still.
Simply free flowing.
And sandwiched in blues of above and blues below.
Now visually each starry night has no light pollution.
And must be visually like a show.
Every night a sparkling diamond show.
For stars do shine like diamond jewellery.
Displayed their best on velvet blue.
And a few shooting stars on clear display.
A moon that mirrors itself on the top of the sea.
And encased in a mirage of double vision.
A double galaxy of stars.
A mirror reflection you cannot see where one ends and one begins.
And a double moon mirrored again each night.
So busy is the night of sea illusion.
Breathe into night sea uplifting illusion.
We forget how the eyes love subtle glimmers of light.
Through the dark radiant dots of light come with a calm sweetness.
Things out of vision the simplicity of soft lights that can only truly glow through the deeper darker colours.
A blanket of the deepest blue makes stars and moon simply glow and shine even more.
And to speak of land and the rejuvenation of the very word island.
Islands touch our soul and it does the albatross too.
Every two years when fully grown they make their way and mate for life on the sub and arctic islands.
Islands offer sanctuary for all travellers.
Islands that keep the sea close by and air filtered by land and living plants.
The albatross is unprepared to eat anything throughout its journey.
With dives a metre deep of travelling the world.
Ships are often followed by the albatross for a share of seafood of course.
So now how big is the world if you could and in a way fly around free time like the albatross every year.
Steady with its speed and requiring minimum energy.
Just the ability to be a master of soaring flight.
For it seems the worlds air currents and sea breezes are a close companion that give birth to travel and immense scenery.
So let the air run through you from wherever it did came and will go.
And let the eye physically now roll up high inside.
Acknowledge the height of air and sky.
Let the sea cleanse you for salt and water two magic ingredients in life.
And let the eye now physically roll low as it can be toward the sea end its depth.
And let the land heal you too for land does remain and we can always call that home or a place to visit.
And let the eyes physically come to centre forwards in a way making a home wherever that may be through time.
And mastering and learning to flow yourself through time itself and soar the heights of this world.
And thoughts of the albatross that is content with the world as its companion.
Ever moving.
Ever flowing.
Ever soaring.
Breathe deeply into ever moving.
And ever flowing.
Ever soaring.
This your companion as you in a way do travel.
Thank you.
Let's awaken to the count of seven.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven.
Waking up now.
Eyes are opening.
Eyes refreshed,
Wide open and bright.
Fully awake.
Thank you.
