In this meditation, we extend lovingkindness to the person or persons in our life that we love the most. We picture them in our mind's eye, reflect lovingly upon them and give thanks for a relationship that means so much.

Loving Kindness - Family
We extend loving kindness to our family. These relationships are among our most significant and enduring connections. These bonds can provide incredible support and joy. As the saying goes “blood is thicker than water”

Loving Kindness - Friends
Friendship is so important. We read how the world is suffering from an epidemic of loneliness in a time when we have never had more means of communication. This requires a remedy. We offer lovingkindness to our friends

Loving Kindness - Acquaintances
In this lesson we reflect upon people whom we might describe as vague acquaintances, the near strangers we interact with daily, people we meet in shops and supermarkets, people we pass as we go about our day, We see how they too can benefit from loving kindness thoughts.

Loving Kindness - Service Providers
In this lesson we see the value of extending lovingkindness to our unsung heroes, from sanitation workers and delivery drivers to grocery clerks and public transport employees. So many people play crucial roles without which our day-to-day existence would be significantly more challenging.

Loving Kindness - LIfe's Tapestry
Our lives have been influenced by so many. People come and go in the course of our lives and in this lesson we reflect on the importance of sending thoughts of love and kindness to those who have been part of our journey

Loving Kindness - Difficult People
By everyday measures some people do not merit the receipt of a lovingkindness reflection. But with mindfulness practice we see that thoughts of love and kindness cannot remain in the closed circle of the people we know and love.

Loving Kindness - Digital Friends
We move on in this part to think about our digital friends, individuals with whom we interact with the aid of technology. These may be long-standing colleagues and friends but more particularly new connections made through online hobby or interest groups. What a wonderful world.

Loving Kindness - People Of The World
In Lesson 11 we see you we can call to mind all the people of this Earth, people of every race, colour and creed, people in all circumstances, and how it is possible to extend thoughts of lovingkindness to each and every one.
Leçon 12
Loving Kindness - Cosmos
In this final lesson we extend loving-kindness to all sentient beings everywhere. We offer love not only to this beautiful planet which has given life to everything that has ever lived upon it but right out to the furthest reaches of the cosmos.
