Ce que vous apprendrez
Many of us have faced the problem where we want to get things done but decide to put it off for one reason or another. We do so because we just don’t feel like it, would rather do something else, or just can't manage to get it done. Getting things done can give you a sense of accomplishment and relief as you actually finish things and get them out of the way. For some people, this is easy to do as it’s just part of their personality to never put things off and just get things done. But for many, there's an assumption that it can sometimes get difficult to get things done, especially when things really start to pile up and you also would rather have some free time to do other things. In this course, we’ll go over 6 simple tips to get things done and end procrastination. Even if you’re pretty good at getting things done, this course can still be great for you to refresh yourself or even validate that you are properly getting things done and are not procrastinating. You may share with others to go through some of these tips to help them get better at getting things done.

Leçon 1
Breaking Things Down
This lesson will go over breaking things down into smaller tasks. The bigger an item to do, the higher chance of procrastination. In order to do this better, breaking down larger tasks into smaller pieces will help you accomplish more in a smaller time frame.
Leçon 2
Visualize How You Will Feel
This lesson will discuss visualizing how you will feel in the future if you finish thing versus when you don't finish things. By doing this, we can immerse ourselves in that future feeling so we can push ourselves to follow through and finish things.
Leçon 3
Put Your Phone Down
One of the greatest reasons we procrastinate is because we are distracted by our phones. This lesson will discuss some ways we can put our phones down so we can focus on the task at hand to get things done and prevent procrastination.
Leçon 4
The 2 Minute Rule
In this lesson we will discuss the 2 minute rule which is a technique to drop everything, and do the task if it takes 2 minutes or less. It seems easy to do but you'll need to be disciplined to take action on it. When you do this, you'll see that you finish many more things throughout your day.
Leçon 5
The 5 Second Rule
In this lesson we will discuss the 5 second rule where once you recognize that you're procrastinating, give yourself 5 seconds to wrap it up and get back to your task at hand. We'll go over several examples of what you may face in your daily life.
Leçon 6
The Eisenhower Matrix
In this lesson we will discuss the Eisenhower Matrix which a decision making model that will help you prioritize the most important tasks so you can finish the things that have the most importance and value. The matrix is as follows in a 4 box quadrant: (Top Left) Important and Urgent = DO it now. (Top Right) Important and Not Urgent = DECIDE for when to later. (Bottom Left) Not Important but Urgent = DELEGATE to someone who can do this for you. (Bottom Right) Not Important and Not Urgent = DELETE the task.
