Good morning and welcome to the Artist's Morning.
My name is Darius and this is a 20 minute guided meditation intended to help you start your day feeling more grounded,
More calm and more connected to your heart.
With today's meditation we will be exploring the question,
What if it were easy?
What if it were easy?
I recently had the privilege of watching an Abraham Hicks video from many years back where she discusses this idea that if we were able to realize that the process of expressing,
The process of becoming,
The process of bringing something into life,
Those emotions we felt during the journey were actually the highest emotional state we could achieve.
This runs counter to many people's understandings that is based on the outcome.
The final destination is the highest emotional state.
She goes on to say,
Once we realize the middle is the highest emotional state we can achieve,
Then we cease to struggle.
The struggle falls off because the challenges that we encounter are the dream.
So with today's meditation we're going to go on a little journey together and we're going to go and explore the feelings of the middle,
The feelings that are right here,
Right now.
At the end of this meditation there will be a prompt to do some journaling.
For those of you that are joining us live at the Artist's Morning,
I'll put 15 minutes on the clock and we'll write together and we'll express and feel whatever came up for us.
And for those of you that are catching the replay of this meditation,
I invite you to do the same.
Put 15 minutes on your own clock and just let whatever is here,
Whatever showed up during this meditation,
Express through your pen onto your paper.
And with that,
Let's begin our meditation.
If your eyes are open,
I invite you to close them now.
And just begin to feel and notice what's alive in your inner world in this moment.
Breathing a nice,
Easy breath,
Sinking into your seat with every inhale and exhale.
Breathing in and just letting it go.
Accessing joy,
Compassion and warmth in this seat this morning.
Softening your face,
Bringing gentle softness to your eyes,
Your forehead,
Your jaw.
Continuing to just find a nice,
Easy breath.
Slowly deepening your inhales.
And with each exhale,
Accessing a little bit of joy,
1% more joy.
Just introducing a slight smile on your face as you exhale.
What if it were easy?
What if it were easy?
And easy here in this seat now,
Dropping your shoulders and just letting any tension easily melt away from your neck,
Shoulders,
Back.
Iblique.
Com In the end,
We are always in pursuit of a feeling.
It's not an object.
It's not an outcome.
It's a feeling we imagine that thing would give us.
When we look back,
Even our challenging experiences can sometimes be perceived through the lens of nostalgia,
And we see them as fond experiences,
Forgetting the challenges.
But if you were able to experience nostalgia in the present moment.
What if this is the feeling you were looking for?
What if you have already arrived?
The journey of becoming is the highest level of joy available to us.
And you,
Dear artist,
Are on that journey.
This is the feeling.
Taking a nice juicy breath in,
Repeating the mantra with me now.
This is the feeling.
This is the feeling.
This could be the moment you've been waiting for all this time.
Open your heart and see who you truly are.
Taking a nice deep breath into your belly.
Repeating the mantra.
This is the feeling.
Feeling joy,
Bliss,
Comfort,
And wonder in this moment.
What if this was the feeling you've been waiting for?
What if it's been here the whole time?
What if it could be easy?
What if the obstacles were the way?
In finding love and joy when you encounter the obstacle melted the struggle away.
This is the feeling.
This is the feeling.
What if you are and have always been fully healed?
What if this was the moment you've been waiting for this whole time?
Joy is sitting in the palms of your hands.
Will you accept joy?
Bravo,
Dear artist.
Bravo,
Dear creator.
Wherever you went,
However deep you traveled,
However you felt,
I honor and respect you for carving out some precious and sacred time for yourself and for your heart this morning.
Taking a nice deep breath into your belly and into your heart.
And just reveling in this joy and creativity energy you have birthed this morning in front of you here.
When you are ready,
Slowly opening your eyes and maybe giving yourself a little stretch.
For those of you that are joining us live,
I will put 15 minutes on the clock as we journal together.
For those of you that are catching us on the replay,
Again,
I invite you to do the same,
Put 15 minutes on your clock and just let whatever showed up this morning to express through your pen onto your piece of paper.
Thanks for meditating with me this morning.
We'll see you next time.
Thank you.
