Let's begin.
If possible,
Let's start by just laying down on your bed and for a moment let's not do anything,
Let's just be here.
Bring your attention rising and falling of your chest and belly as you breathe in.
Take a moment to bring your attention the way your sheets to the way your bed feels against your skin.
Take a moment to share a little gratitude that we get to rest on a bed,
That we have sheets and a mattress.
We're gonna bless this space,
This room,
This bed we're in.
Thank you universe.
Thank you for this room.
Thank you for this day I had,
Whatever happened.
Thank you for this body,
For helping me travel through this day.
Thank you to all the people I met.
Our day is coming to an end.
We get to rest,
Recharge.
Take a nice deep breath here.
Breathing in,
Letting it go.
If possible,
Try to breathe in through your nose and into your belly and slowly out your mouth.
Very slow.
Breathing in,
Rising your belly and slowly out.
Breathing in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth.
Take a couple more breaths like that.
Nervous system to slow down,
Allowing a gentle,
Like a warm blanket,
Like a hug from someone you love.
It's gentle,
Present,
Warm and soothing.
That's okay.
That's what creative minds do sometimes.
Your attention back to your inner world.
Taking a few breaths like we did earlier.
Breathing in through your nose,
Slowly out through your mouth.
Maybe you have an intention for your sleep,
For your dreams.
It could be very simple.
You can't find one.
A very simple one is my intention is to have a deep,
Gentle rest.
Maybe you notice there's a gentle heaviness,
A weight.
It's soothing,
Comforting and safe.
It's falling on your eyelid,
Against your chest and heart.
There's gentle heaviness.
Feel it all the way down to your feet and toes.
You start to doze off.
That's okay.
That's the point.
Let yourself go wherever you want to go.
If you'd like to stay and listen to the guidance,
You can do that.
If you're starting to go into your sleep and your dreams,
You can do that.

To do absolutely nothing and just lay here.
Even if our minds keep going,
Know that you are still resting.
Your body is resting.
You are recharging.
Even if your mind is not yet ready to fall asleep,
Know that this time is still serving you.
It's still soothing you.
Each passing moment slowly falling deeper and deeper into you.
