This guided meditation was created to help you navigate creative blocks that come up.
You use this meditation whenever you need to reconnect with your creative flow.
Your creative block may come as procrastination,
Resistance,
Low energy,
Lack of motivation,
A specific fear.
This meditation will help you connect with your creative block and gently release what is blocking you from creating at this moment in time.
Bring yourself into a quiet and comfortable space.
You can sit or you can lie down.
Take a few breaths to connect with your life force energy and you can expand the length of your inhale and exhale if it's comfortable to do so.
As you continue to gently expand your breathing,
I want you to imagine your creative block as a separate entity outside of you.
It may appear as another person,
A color,
A felt energy,
An emotion.
Whatever form your creative block takes,
Welcome it to be with you right now.
Gently and purposefully bring your attention into your heart chakra at the center of your chest.
Tune into the qualities of your spiritual heart,
The qualities of unconditioned love,
Compassion,
Kindness,
Acceptance,
Tolerance,
Forgiveness.
Imagine that your breath can flow gently in out of the center of your chest through your heart.
See yourself sitting in your favorite place in nature and begin to notice your environment,
The trees,
Water,
Sky,
Clouds,
Fields,
Whatever is in this peaceful favorite place in nature.
Notice all the colors,
The sounds,
The smells.
Welcome it all into your awareness.
As you are witnessing the elements of your favorite place in nature,
I want you to sense,
Feel,
And notice that there's this beautiful silence wrapping around you like a warm,
Soft covering.
Breathing in and out from your heart at the center of your chest,
Start to feel the connection to this particular creative block today and welcome it by becoming receptive and open to what it has to share with you today.
Look towards the entity of your creative block and we will ask a few questions.
You may receive an answer right away or not.
Don't force or try to think of the answer.
Allow it to come gently to you.
It may come now or it may come to you within the next 48 hours.
There's no need to grasp or force for any answers.
Feel into your heart again.
Place your hands there and feel the receptivity that is there gently awaiting.
Now,

Why have you appeared at this time?

Stay connected to the breath flowing in and out of your heart,
Allowing yourself to become more and more receptive and open to whatever answers come.
They may come as words or feeling,
A sense,
A gut instinct,
A color,
A memory.
Now,
I want you to ask your creative block,
What do you need from me?
Is there something I can do for you?
Sense your heart's receptivity to receiving what your creative block is here to share with you today.
Is there something you need from me?
Is there something I can do for you?
Slowly begin to come back into your physical sense of self by feeling down into your feet,
Down into your hands and fingers and thumbs.
Connect to your breathing again and give yourself a little gentle stretch.
Take a deep,
Deep breath in,
Really fill up with that life force energy and hold it gently in for a few moments and exhale deeply and completely.
And again,
A deep breath in,
Fill up and pause your breath,
Holding it gently for a moment and breathe out with a sigh,
Softening and releasing.
Give a thanks to the divine source of creative energy and feel your heart open and receptive to co-create in the unblocked creative energy that is flowing through you.
