This practice is about leaning into the questions and giving space for your intuition and inner wisdom to be heard.
So go ahead and find a comfortable seat.
You can have your lower back supported if you'd like.
And try and find a space where you'll be able to lay down for part of the meditation.
Take a look around your room and just become familiar with where you are,
Knowing that you're safe.
Let your hands rest wherever is comfortable.
And slowly begin to allow the eyelids to become heavy and close down like blinds over your eyes.
You may only want to go 90% today and that's just fine.
If you choose to do that,
Just cast your gaze a little bit in front of you.
And if you choose to do so,
You can close your eyes all the way down to be in total darkness.
And just allow your breath to be steady and free,
Effortlessly flowing in and out.
And just notice that expansion and contraction of your body as you breathe in and as you breathe out.
And as we move through this practice,
Everything is an invitation.
So listen to what feels right for you today.
And you should always move and change your position as and when you need to.
We don't need to sit in periods of discomfort.
Become aware of your body in space.
Without moving anything,
Can you feel where your body is touching the ground beneath you or the surface that you're sitting on?
Can you feel where your hands are placed on your body?
Can you notice what the atmosphere around your head feels like?
And take this sense of awareness and bring it from outward focused to inward focused.
Bringing that point of awareness to the center of your brain,
Right between your ears and behind the center of your eyebrows.
Let your awareness be like a stone.
A nice smooth stone sinking in a pond.
And this sinks from the surface down the center of your throat to the center of your chest.
And it pauses there,
Suspended in that space.
And from that point of concentrated awareness,
Do a bit of a 360 degree turn around in that space and just notice any sensations.
How does that place in your body feel?
And once again that stone gets heavier and it begins to sink through the center column of your torso down,
Down,
Down to the very bottom of your belly.
Where it gently lands and it's just perfectly held.
And that center of awareness once again scans the area at the bottom of your belly for sensations.
Notice how that space of your body is feeling right now without judgment.
Pure acceptance.
Are there any colors or words or anything that's coming up to describe that experience that you're witnessing at the bottom of your belly?
You may see lots of things coming up and that's not surprising because this is where all of our emotions arise from.
Before we call them feelings and add labels to them.
This is where the watery emotions that are neither positive or negative arise.
So it's very normal for our descriptions of that space of our body to be quite abstract.
Now imagine there's a thread connecting that stone of awareness at the bottom of your belly to the space where it just was in the center of your chest.
And that thread continues and connects all the way through your throat back to the center of the brain where it began its journey.
Linking all of these centers where your intuition sits.
And now that your intuition has been activated and invited to speak,
It's time to invite a question.
I invite you to let any question surface up.
Any question that you seek answers to.
Speak that question and let it be received by these centers.
And just wait in patient,
Non-judgmental awareness.
And see what answers may arise.
And if nothing comes up at first,
You may find it helpful to put one hand in the center of your chest and one hand on your belly.
Providing further comfort and support for these centers to know they're safe.
And ask the question once or twice more and just see if any answers come up for you today.
What's erupting out of your inner fountain of wisdom that we all have within us?
Perhaps a second or third question is surfacing and you find yourself inquiring with pure sincerity and listening.
With patience and gratitude.
And if you're in a live dialogue,
Then you can go ahead and begin to close that out.
And let your hands release down if they were on your chest and your belly.
And if you have the space to do so,
I invite you to lay down.
Lay down in a comfortable position with your feet a bit wider than hips width,
Splayed out to the sides.
And your arms along your side with the palms either facing up or inward.
And perhaps your head is laying on something soft or on the ground.
It may feel good to put one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly.
And you extend your deepest gratitude to these seats of your intuition.
Remember the wisdom that they shared with you.
And thank them.
And then whatever hand is on the center of your chest,
Begin to apply some pressure,
Nothing extreme,
But just firm pressure in the center of your chest.
And place your other hand on top.
And you can either speak these next statements of affirmation silently in your mind,
Or if you're alone in a room,
Perhaps out loud.
Placing both hands on the center of your chest with some pressure and landing your awareness there.
Speak these affirmations.
I'm okay.
I am safe.
I am loved.
I'm okay.
I'm safe.
I'm loved.
Let any further affirmations that are just bursting through for you right now let those be heard.
Let their echoes be sent like ripples through your entire body.
As you feel and deeply know they are true.
Place both palms together.
In a prayer position with your fingers pointing towards the sky.
And then we're going to invert the prayer so that your fingers are pointing down towards your sternum,
The bone in the center of the chest.
And you're just going to begin to gently tap up and down the sternum.
Further activating this major energy center of our body.
This place where so much of our inner wisdom is just waiting to literally be tapped into.
And this can further encourage us to move through our eyes,
Open experience in our lives,
Connected with this place.
So it's not just when we sit down and we cut ourselves off from the outside world that we can connect inward with our intuition.
And I invite you to bring any sort of intention statement for the rest of your day or evening or week.
Let that just surface up.
As you continue to tap.
Tapping that intention into the center of your chest,
Giving it everything it needs to cultivate and manifest.
And then when you're ready,
You can just release your arms back by your side.
Take a big breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Doing that once or twice more,
Noticing that sensation of expansion as you breathe in,
Up,
Down,
Side to side.
And the contraction as you breathe out.
Expansion as you breathe in and contraction as you breathe out.
Not this consciously deeper breath inspire tiny movements at first.
Perhaps in your fingers and your toes.
And in almost a primal way,
Let your body just move in whatever way it wishes to.
Bring yourself back into your physical body.
As you roll on to one side.
And you slowly bring yourself back up to a seat.
Where you bring back to mind all the wisdom,
All the answers.
That your intuition provided today.
Logging it in your memory.
So it is not forgotten.
And then when you're ready,
You can very,
Very slowly begin to lift up your eyelid.
Just a tiny crack at first,
Allowing that fuzzy light to cast through.
And then pulling up the curtain all the way up.
Bringing your awareness back into the physical space that you're in.
Well done for taking this time to listen to you.
Thank you for practicing with me.
And I'll see you next time.
