This yoga nidra is an antidote for those times where you feel distanced from your power. You don't need to do anything at all, just lay down and listen. Let yourself steep in your power and remember what it feels like to fully own it.

Welcome to the practice of yoga nidra.

Get everything you need to make yourself feel as comfortable as possible for this ancient practice where we dive into a state of deep rest and then go beyond.

When you're ready,

Go ahead and lay yourself down.

You may like to have a bolster under your knees,

A low pillow under your head,

Something covering your eyes to block out light,

And a blanket to keep you warm.

Let yourself settle in.

Let your feet be hips width apart,

With your toes flopping out to the sides.

Your arms by your side,

With your palms facing up.

Allow yourself to settle in and make any final adjustments to allow your spine to unravel and meld into the ground beneath you.

In the next 30 minutes,

We will journey together,

Beyond the conscious thinking mind,

Into the realm of unknown,

And write the codes to unlock your infinite potential.

Make a commitment to yourself now to remain aware.

You may occasionally drift away,

And whenever this happens,

Just come back to my voice.

And if you do fall asleep,

Don't worry,

The practice will still have an effect on you,

As the subconscious mind is always listening.

Notice where your body is making contact with the ground beneath you.

Without moving at all,

Feel the contact between your heels and the ground,

Your lower back and the ground,

Your shoulders and the ground,

Your hands,

Elbows,

Your head,

And the ground.

Feel gravity gently caressing you,

Inviting you to melt a little closer into her.

Imagine yourself laying on a patch of grassy earth in the center of a meadow in springtime,

The sun beaming down,

And life waiting to burst open all around you.

Feel the glow of sunshine on your face as its warmth spreads across your skin and radiates throughout the caverns of your body.

Bring your awareness to the center of your chest,

And with your awareness resting here,

Call all the parts of yourself in.

The joyful you,

The silly you,

The hurting you,

The flourishing you,

The child you,

The fearful you,

The confident you,

The fierce you,

The doubtful you,

The grieving you.

Call all the parts of yourself in,

The whole you,

All the parts that have fragmented across people and places.

Bring them all back to you now,

Your heartbeat,

The homing device calling them back to their source.

All parts of you held now in your heart.

Keep your awareness here.

Feel yourself in your wholeness,

Expanding and contracting as you breathe,

Expanding as you breathe in and making space growing bigger,

And contracting,

Shrinking,

Pulling inwards as you breathe out.

All the parts of yourself intertwining more upon each expansion and merging more cohesively upon each contraction,

Expansion and contraction again and again as you breathe until all the parts of you become the whole that they always were.

Feel a sense of wholeness,

All the parts of you here now together.

No matter how fractured and fragmented you may have felt before laying down for this practice,

Know that right now in this present moment,

You are whole.

You are already whole.

Here in your heart with all the parts of yourself together is where the practice of yoga nidra begins.

Dwelling within your heart,

Silently speak the simple truth to yourself.

I am standing in my power.

I am standing in my power.

Repeat it to yourself at least three times with conviction,

And strength.

Repeat it until you can feel the belief vibrating at a cellular level in your body.

We will now carry the potent energy of this statement throughout our entire body by threading the sensation or visual of a golden thread to each body part named.

Starting in the center of your heart,

A golden thread from the center of your heart draws a line to the brow center,

The right temple,

Right cheek,

Right shoulder,

Right side of the chest,

Right upper thigh,

Right ankle.

Feel the whole right side,

Whole right side of your body now.

That golden thread continues to the point at your left ankle,

To the left upper thigh,

Left side of the chest,

Left shoulder,

Left cheek,

Left temple,

To the midbrain space between the ears.

Feel the whole left side,

Whole left side of your body now.

And now feel the whole body now,

Whole body awareness,

A gold thread webbing through all heart points of your body.

And now land your awareness at the brow point at the center of your eyebrows.

We'll now explore emotion states.

With each emotion named,

Allow the sensation of that pure emotion to flood your body.

Do your best to refrain from falling into a specific memory that triggered that emotion and stay with the pure emotional state itself.

What does it feel like to be defeated?

Defeat.

What does defeat feel like in your body?

Notice the sensations,

Thoughts,

Parts of your body where this emotion is welling up.

And now let this experience clear away.

Bringing to your body what it feels like to be confident.

What does it feel like to have a strong sense of confidence?

What colors,

Thoughts,

Textures,

Sensations come to your body?

Now release that emotion.

Clear this light.

What does it feel like to be stunted?

To feel a sense of stalling,

A lack of flow or growth.

What does this feel like in your body?

Let this experience fade away.

And now call in what it feels like to be surging with creativity.

What does it feel like to be creative?

To be full of ideas and inspiration.

Let any emotions,

Thoughts,

Colors,

Textures,

Sensations flood your body now.

Now let this all clear away.

Let your next breath be consciously deeper and your exhale sweep away all of the experiences you just had.

Bring your awareness to the brow point once again.

And allow your awareness to drop to the center of your brain right between your ears.

Where we'll journey into visualization.

We'll move beyond the conscious thinking mind into the realm of unknown and write the codes to unlock your infinite potential.

Imagine yourself back in the springtime meadow.

Here you are standing,

Feeling a sensation of secure grounding.

All four corners of your feet tethered to the earth below.

Rooted like the trees you see on the horizon off in the distance.

Feel the warmth of the sun beaming down on the top of your head.

You're being drenched with energy from above and at the same time you're drawing up energy from below.

Energy wraps around you.

A comforting cocoon spun out of earth's energy.

You may not be able to see it,

But you can feel it.

In the safe cocoon from the soles of your feet begin to grow roots that tunnel into the earth below.

And at the same time the perimeter of a massive trunk of a tree begins to form around you.

Growing up towards the sky with an open top that you can look through.

Branches begin to sprout out from the top of the trunk rapidly multiplying all around and stretching up towards the sky.

The roots beneath you draw trails of molten orange liquid up from the earthy core into the body of the tree.

And there this orange liquid infuses with all the wisdom contained within your body.

It steeps in the knowledge,

Ideas,

Everything that you've gained from your lived experiences so far.

All that you already have within you.

And as it steeps in your essence this orange liquid morphs into gold.

And this golden liquid tunnels up through your heart,

Through your throat,

To the point at the very top of your skull.

And as this happens tiny buds begin to appear on the branches.

The golden liquid pools at your crown more and more until gold streams through the inner arteries of the branches.

Gold streaming from the crown of your head through all these branches that surround you.

And a breathtaking sight appears as the thousands of buds instantly unfurl into shimmering golden leaves.

A moment of magic.

Your essence painted on all these leaves that flutter gently in the breeze.

Your work is now done.

And your spirit body re-enters.

Your physical body.

And you step out of the tree's trunk onto the grass in front of you.

You turn around,

You look up,

And you marvel in the wonder of this incredible sight.

You lay yourself down beneath the shimmering canopy.

Savoring,

Relishing,

Knowing that you created this.

And it's all thanks to you standing in your power,

Rooting down into yourself.

Stepping into the light,

You found your ground and look at the beauty you created.

You repeat Irrsa Kallpa silently one last time with full conviction.

In every word of the statement,

I am standing in my power.

And a warm glow washes over your body.

You know this truth.

So you breathe in sweet air full of oxygen gifted to you by this tree.

And in exchange,

You give her your exhalation to provide her with her next breath in.

Perfect design of symbiosis.

Perfect harmony.

Nature's intelligence in its finest form.

You take another big breath in and the big breath out.

The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.

You begin to squeeze your hands,

Tense your arms,

Tense your shoulders,

And relax them.

You squeeze your toes and flex your feet to clench up your legs.

And you relax them.

And you scrunch up your face really,

Really tight.

And you let it relax and melt down.

You come back into your physical body as you deepen your breath.

And you let movement wander through your body.

Let your movements be soft.

Let your head move from side to side.

Your eyes move from side to side beneath your eyelids.

And then you slowly roll onto one side.

You curl your knees in towards your chest.

And with your eyes still closed,

Come up into a comfortable seated position.

And stay here for a moment to let any messages,

Any realizations,

Any insights or visions that came through in the practice today surface up into your conscious mind so that you can act in service of it.

Remember it now and commit to carrying positive action towards it into your day and your week.

Place both hands one on top of the other in the center of your chest.

Feel your heart beating beneath your palms.

Bow your chin towards your heart in appreciation for the time you have dedicated just now to yourself and the opportunity to resign your head's power to your heart's lead.

With no rush at all,

Whenever you're ready,

You can very gently begin to open your eyes.

Bring your awareness back into the space around you.

Begin to transition into your eyes open state of being.

Carry the essence and feeling of this journey and everything that has brought you throughout your day,

Your week,

Your month.

It has been such a privilege to guide you on this journey.
