When there is a space between your desire and your reality, your ego wants to fill it with anxiety. Faith is the choice to fill that space with presence instead. By staying steady in that pause, you allow your wishes to move toward you with more ease. This talk is about how to build that inner muscle of detachment, so you can stay grounded in your knowing until the moment of receiving arrives.

Let me give you a definition of faith that I really like that helps me.

Faith is not rose-colored glasses.

Faith is not wishful thinking.

Faith is being able to be with the gap between I want and I receive.

It's being able to spend time and be comfortable in that pause between I want and I receive.

Being able to be with that pause until you get it,

That's faith,

That's a kind of surrender,

And that will help you so much.

It's this Buddhist non-attachment,

Detachment,

Being with discomfort,

And that helps you in every area in your life.

So have faith,

Which means get comfortable in that space,

And know that as long as you set an intention and you cultivate energy,

Your wishes will come true.
