Close your eyes gently,
And welcome to this brief self-compassion practice that will impact your mindset.
Begin by taking a deep breath in,
And take a deep breath out,
And now put your hands on the heart,
And let the heart witness the breath.
Let the heart feel this comfort of the hand on the chest,
And begin to watch your breath from the heart.
Here is a creature breathing.
Here is a beautiful being that's alive,
Breathing.
Here is a person with so many emotions,
And this person is valuable and important,
And worthy of so much respect,
And every breath,
Every moment,
And this person as a whole is to be treated with gentleness and care.
So,
Watching your breath from a place of the heart,
And send yourself the wish,
May I treat myself with love and care.
May I welcome all my emotions.
All my emotions are welcome.
May I know that each day there is enough for my happiness.
There is something there in each day,
Even the hard days,
That is enough for me to feel joy,
And gratitude,
And real happiness of connection.
Connection to myself,
Connection to others,
And connection to life.
And through all my actions,
I have this intention.
May I be happy.
May I be healthy and strong.
May I thrive.
May I be peaceful.
May I love and be loved.
May I enjoy.
May I physically enjoy being on this earth.
And may I like the way I interact with this earth,
Meaning with the people and creatures on it.
Acknowledging that you are the little part of the universe that you are meant to take care of.
Making that part of the universe a beautiful space with kind intentions,
And strength,
And deep authenticity,
Honesty,
And satisfaction.
Your self-compassion is the highest form of service.
We can't change the entire world all at once.
But we can make five foot in front of us,
We can make five feet in front of us,
And five feet behind us,
And five feet on all sides a complete paradise,
Because we bring our joy,
Our sense of humor,
Our love with us into every space we enter.
So set the intention,
May every space I enter become a space that is beautiful,
Through my own joy,
Through my lightness,
Through my kind intention.
For all the good and not good,
Through all the challenges and events that this life brings to the world,
May those five feet on every side of me be a space of joy,
From the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep.
And if there are negative emotions in my heart,
May I meet them with compassion,
And that compassion becomes a positive emotion also.
May I heal myself and in this way heal the world.
May I bring joy to myself,
And in this way,
Bring joy to the world.
Letting these words enter your being,
And enter your intention,
And enter your day.
Now release the hands and enjoy another deep breath in.
A breath out through the mouth.
Thank yourself for having done this practice.
And as you open your eyes,
Bring this compassion and self-compassion with you.
You are here to feel love for imperfect beings,
Including yourself,
And you're here to know that everything that happens,
Everything you see around you,
Is for your joy,
A gift to you,
Or for your growth,
Also a gift to you.
Everything on this earth is here for you.
