Take a deep breath in,

Take a deep breath out through the mouth,

Place your hand on your heart,

Bring to mind a love one.

See this person as they are.

See this person with eyes of warmth.

Say for this person,

I release you of all expectations.

I send you love and compassion just the way you are.

Just the way you are,

You are a gift to the universe.

And when you are being difficult,

You are still a gift to me because you help me access my resources.

You help me access my strength.

And send the wish to this person,

May you be happy just the way you are.

I accept you just the way you are.

I wish you joy and peace just the way you are.

I am not here to judge.

I am here to pay attention and offer a loving presence to those around me.

With your hand on your heart,

Imagine all past versions of yourself saying,

I accept myself in all my forms.

I accept myself when I was 17,

And when I was 22,

And in every decade after.

I have full acceptance of myself and my path.

Every part of my path is valuable.

Every person in my life is valuable.

Every part of the universe is valuable.

Set the intention to make space in your heart for every person as they are,

For the universe as it is,

And for you yourself as you are.

And now put your hand down,

And let's take 1,

8 breath together to seal this practice.

To seal this practice,

Inhaling for a count of 1,

Hold,

Exhale out like through a straw for 2,

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes gently,

Coming back.

Thank yourself for having done this practice,

And take this acceptance,

This openness,

This release of expectations with you,

Remembering that every expectation closes down possibilities and closes down a piece of your heart.
