Arrive in this moment Closing your eyes if you'd like Start to soften everything Maybe even breathe in and tighten your fists,

Squeeze your face,

Engage your muscles,

Hold,

Hold,

Hold,

Squeeze,

And then exhale,

Relax everything,

Soften your entire body One more time,

Inhale,

Engage,

Squeeze,

Hold,

Hold,

Hold,

Exhale,

Relax everything You can melt here Allow everything from the past to fade away Allow the future to wait patiently Inhale Slowly imagine the most beautiful lake or ocean Imagine the blue sparkly waters Maybe the blue sky And the sunshine Imagine it's quiet And all you can hear is the water And you feel a gentle breeze and the warmth of the sun And it's just you And you are safe You feel relief and peace as you walk toward the shore The water is calm The tide is slowly rising and slowly falling Matching your breath to the waves,

The rhythm Inhale,

The waves come in Exhale,

They float away Inhale,

The tide rises Exhale,

The tide falls Inhale And exhale Just allowing the rhythm of the water to match your breath And to soften,

Bringing ease and peace Steady inhale Steady exhale Maybe there's a slight pause And then the water returns Back to the shore Inhale And then it floats away This is yours Maintaining a slow,

Calm inhale and exhale Visualizing the water Let it soothe you And then take a big breath in Release Notice how you feel now Thinking the rhythm of the water Thinking your breath Moving into the next moment with a little bit more ease and calm One more big breath in Let it go From my heart to yours
