Welcome to this guided meditation.
Find a comfortable and quiet place to sit or lie down.
Close your eyes gently and take a moment to settle into your body.
Let's begin by focusing on your breath.
Notice the natural rhythm of your breathing,
Without trying to change it.
Feel the sensation of your breath flowing in and out,
Like waves of energy.
As you breathe in,
Feel that your breath is moving toward the center of your being.
Feel it touching a point deep within you.
And as you breathe out,
Sense your breath expanding outward,
Radiating from this center.
We often live in the periphery of our existence,
Lost in the distractions of the outer world.
But now,
Bring your attention to the fusion point of your breaths,
That moment when the in-breath meets the out-breath,
And they become one.
Inhalation becomes exhalation.
Exhalation becomes inhalation.
They are one.
In this moment of fusion,
Your breath is neither coming in nor going out.
It's a still point,
A bridge between the center and the periphery.
Feel the energy at this point,
The energy that connects you to the cosmic source.
Imagine your breath as a bridge,
Connecting your physical body to the center within.
With each inhale,
Feel your breath moving toward this center,
Illuminating it with cosmic energy.
And with each exhale,
Let that energy radiate outward,
Filling your entire being.
With each inhale,
Feel your breath moving toward this center,
Illuminating it with cosmic energy.
And with each exhale,
Let that energy radiate outward,
Filling your entire being.
Now as you continue to breathe,
I invite you to add a gentle count to your breath,
Inhale deeply to the count of four,
Hold your breath for a count of two,
And exhale slowly to the count of six.
Inhale deeply to the count of four,
Hold your breath for a count of two,
And exhale slowly to the count of six.
This rhythmic breathing will help you deepen your connection to your center.
As you practice this rhythmic breathing,
Be aware of any resistance or tension that arises.
Notice if your mind starts to wander,
And gently guide your focus back to your breath,
Back to the center.
The breath is your guide,
Leading you to the energy-less,
Energy-filled center.
It's a center that's not dependent on external sources,
A source of bliss and wholeness that resides within you.
As you breathe,
Let go of any fear or resistance that holds you back from fully experiencing this center.
Inhale deeply to the count of four,
Hold your breath for a count of two,
And exhale slowly to the count of six.
Allow your breath to penetrate deep within,
Reaching the essence of your being.
With each breath,
You're becoming more in touch with your true self,
More in touch with the cosmic energy that flows through you.
Feel the harmony between your inner and outer worlds.
Now,
Let's take a moment to cultivate loving-kindness.
As you breathe,
Silently repeat these words.
May I be filled with love and light.
May I be happy and at peace.
Extend this loving-kindness outward to others.
May all beings be filled with love and light.
May all beings be happy and at peace.
Take a deep breath in,
And exhale slowly,
Releasing any tension.
Now,
Bring to mind someone you care about deeply,
Someone you love unconditionally.
Imagine them in front of you,
And send them your heartfelt wishes.
May you be happy,
May you be healthy,
May you be safe,
May you live with ease.
Feel the warmth of these wishes as they flow from your heart to theirs.
Now expand this circle of loving-kindness,
Pitch your acquaintances,
Strangers,
And even those you may have difficulties with.
Offer the same wishes to all beings,
Without exception.
And as we conclude this meditation,
Take a moment to appreciate the inner calm and connection you've cultivated.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Thank you for joining me in this practice.
The Energyless Energy-Filled Center and the practice of loving-kindness are tools you can always return to,
Nurturing your well-being and spreading positivity to the world around you.
