Loving light,

Expand your focus to others,

Picture your loved ones,

Family or anyone dear to you,

Visualize them smiling and surrounded by the same loving light.

Now extend your loving kindness to acquaintances,

To people you may have conflicts with and even to strangers,

Imagine the phrases reaching out to encompass all beings,

Recognize that just as you wish happiness and well-being for yourself and others,
