FEARLESSNESS Without effort,
You cannot catch a fish from the pond.
But before diving in after it,
It's worth asking yourself,
Do you really need this fish?
If the answer is yes,
Then why?
You could eat it,
Keep it in an aquarium to admire,
Or perhaps it's a magical fish that grants wishes.
It all depends on you.
What are you relying on when deciding to participate in this course?
If you already have meditation experience,
Remember that persistence is the key to success.
The simple answer is to just keep practicing and continue.
Discipline is what truly matters.
But if you're a beginner,
Prepare to dive into the illusory world that surrounds us.
You will have to confront suffering and impermanence,
Learning everything here and now.
Look back.
You were born through your mother,
Who endured pain during childbirth,
Right?
Your parents raised you,
And let's be honest,
You gave them quite a few challenges.
Now imagine this.
You are alone.
There are no parents,
No friends,
No one to shift responsibility and blame onto.
It's all on you.
And that's where the real game begins.
Everything used to seem scripted,
But now you're stepping behind the scenes to see how it all really works.
No one will notice your efforts or commend you for your practice.
Whether you sit for 30 minutes or 3 hours,
It doesn't matter to anyone.
You have a chance to look yourself in the eye and confront what you've been running away from since childhood.
But it's not all grim.
I will be here,
Serving as your guide and best friend.
However,
There will be times when you are alone,
And those moments will be the most valuable.
They will allow you to develop insights through personal experience,
Which you can rely on in the future.
By practicing on your own,
You will grow through your own experiences and apply them going forward.
From the bottom of my heart,
I wish you steadfastness on this path.
No one else can do this for you.
May you attain the sweet fruits of the Buddha's teachings and find true happiness.
Look at reality with the right and worthy perspective.
See things as they truly are.
I send you this message from Burma,
As it is called here,
The Golden Land.
Wishing you kindness,
Effort,
Faith and perseverance in your practice,
My friend.
You will succeed.
Let's go.
Thank you for your attention.
When you're ready at any point during the day,
Feel free to move on to the next audio recording.
