Happy Friday,
Everybody.
Welcome to our Friday morning circle.
Um.
.
.
Today I would like to set an intention and have you all set an intention.
For something in your life that you would like to be free from.
Even if it's just for these 20 minutes.
It's a start.
So something that in which you have felt.
Um.
.
.
Tied up or restricted.
Something that doesn't serve you.
So while we're.
Going through our senses.
Give that a little bit of your attention,
Because we'll get back to it at the end.
So let's start by.
Waking up our eyes,
Our vision.
Looking around your space.
Is there something?
That strikes your attention for the first time or in a different way.
Give appreciation.
Acknowledgements and when you've had your fill of that.
You can allow your eyes to close.
Do you hear any sounds?
Are they pleasing?
Are they not pleasing?
Is it a sound outside your body?
Or coming from inside your body.
Do you smell anything?
Do you taste anything?
And can you bring her?
Awareness to the sensation of touch.
Where are your hands right now?
Are they touching something?
Are they touching air?
And where are your feet?
Are they touching the floor?
Can you feel the.
.
.
Softness of your socks.
On your feet.
And become aware of.
Your skin.
There's a whole unit.
It covers your muscles,
Your bones.
Protection.
And can you feel how your skin?
On your chest and abdomen has to.
Expand or shift every time that you take a breath.
Can you feel that as the breath?
Goes in.
Your chest and abdomen.
Expand.
And as the breath goes out.
They relax.
Like a bellows opening up.
Expanding and allowing air to rush in.
And then contracting.
Pushing air out.
So for the next minute or so.
Let's do some breathing like a bellows.
See if you can expand here.
Chest and abdomen first and see how the air flows.
Brushes in.
And contracting.
Your chest and abdomen.
See how the air pushes out.
If that doesn't feel available to you.
You can just breathe.
And when your mind gets distracted,
As it will,
Try to become aware of the distraction.
But don't give it too much attention.
Turn back to the breath.
You can try playing with the.
.
.
Of the in-breath.
Versus the out-breath.
This is a method that can really calm your nervous system down.
If you're amped up.
To take a big breath in.
And then slow that out breath down.
Either by controlling the muscles in your abdomen or by pursing your lips.
So that the out breath is twice as long as the in breath.
So it might sound something like.
And again,
If you find yourself.
Planning or starting to make lists.
In your head.
Just acknowledge.
Give permission,
It's all okay.
You're human.
And that's what human minds do.
And then try to set it aside and go back to your breathing.
If it helps to feel the air coming in through your nose.
Cool.
And the air going out through your nose warm.
That's another way to anchor into the breath.
So while you are breathing,
Imagine the space between your navel and your pubic bone.
Lower abdomen.
See if you can bring some.
Attention there,
Some energy.
This is the second chakra,
It's called the sacral chakra.
And The sacral chakra is many things.
But it's where creativity.
Begins.
And so I'm thinking about creativity.
I was thinking about freedom.
Because I think those two.
.
.
Often go hand in hand.
So the color of the second chakra is orange.
So imagine that there is some energy building in that part of your body.
And that it is developing into.
Orange ball.
Of warm light.
You can breathe right into that spot if that helps.
And imagine that around that orange ball.
There's a casing or some sort of.
Transparent structure.
It's a glass.
Case.
Polar bear.
And ice.
Formation or cage.
Something.
That is there.
But invisible.
In this structure.
Represents.
The thing that you wish to be free from.
Whether it's some.
.
.
Old belief or a rule.
Or an old program or pattern.
Fear,
Shame.
Publication.
Something that doesn't serve you anymore in your life.
Don't fight it.
Don't force it.
Just breathe with it.
With each inhale,
Imagine that orange ball of light getting brighter and stronger.
And with each exhale,
Imagine that structure starting to melt.
Or give way.
Or cracked.
So with the in-breath.
The light gets more.
Powerful.
And with the out-breath,
The structure starts to dissolve.
Nothing breaks.
Nothing shatters.
It just opens.
And with every.
Exhale.
Every out breath.
Imagine that structure.
Being carried away.
It doesn't need to be processed.
It doesn't need to be understood.
It just needs to be released.
And if this all feels strange or not available to you.
Just breathe.
And see if you can feel that part of your body becoming more relaxed.
With each out breath.
Without that structure.
Around it that light can grow.
And shine really brightly.
And welcome in.
Peace and joy.
So as you come back into the moment,
In the room.
Let your light just kind of.
.
.
Ease away.
And wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take a stretch where you need it.
And when you are ready.
You can open your eyes.
Say hello.
I hope you all have a beautiful day.
Thank you so much for joining me.
And Um.
.
.
You have a creative day in the flow and free from the things that don't serve you.
