Hello Brilliant Being,

This is Dr.

Liz.

I'm so glad that you are here because this meditation is for deep restoration and as if it is a 5 minute retreat for your body and mind to unwind and relax.

So go ahead if you haven't already,

Make yourself 10% more comfortable to allow yourself even more relaxation.

Gently closing your eyes if that feels right for you.

Allow my words to be offerings to you,

Like a voice of a trusted old friend or wise mentor and giving yourself permission to let go of time,

Let go of worries and concerns and welcome in my voice,

This moment and this feeling of serenity now.

I invite you to place one hand over your heart and your other hand on your belly so that you can connect even deeper to your body and your stillness.

And I welcome you to take a cleansing breath in through your nose,

Holding briefly at the top,

And then sighing out with a great exhalation,

Letting go of any and all tension of the day.

And go ahead and take this cleansing breath and release two more times.

Breathing in,

You're calm,

And exhaling any and all tension.

Let it melt away with each and every breath that you take,

Enjoying the welcome release of your next exhalation.

Good.

And you can return to a natural soothing rhythm of your breath that's always there for you,

Like a loyal friend.

And your breath can help regulate your nervous system,

Be your restoration.

I you simply drift and dream and unlock your creativity with any healing images or scenery that are invoked by this mindful poem for you.

Retreat and restore.

So often we underestimate the power of rest when our hearts feel heavy and our minds cannot quiet.

It is often a sign that we are doing far too much,

Pushing too hard,

Thinking too far.

This concept of more is not always better.

It's not always better for our souls.

And sometimes the real power,

The real abundance is in the power of less.

So allow those words to go wherever they need to go to help heal what needs to be healed,

To restore what needs to be restored.

And allow your mind to give you the answers that you seek of what is one thing that you can do less of that brings you more comfort and more ease today.

One thing you can do less of.

You really notice how your body feels with this permission slip that you can,

In fact,

Do one thing less today to bring space for more joy and comfort and ease.

See before you how this one change can make such a difference in your today,

Today.

And whenever you are ready,

You can flutter your eyes open.

Greet the day again with this new shift,

Stretching back into this moment with new energy,

New clarity.

Enjoy these powerful shifts in your body,

Mind,

And life.

Again,

My name is Dr.

Bliss,

And may you find pockets of peace throughout your day.

Take care.
