This is Donna.
And this meditation will support you in making wise decisions,
Whether big or small,
By tuning into the intuitive wisdom within you.
With so much change coming at us so quickly,
It's really valuable to have a process to help you tap into your deepest wisdom and make wise decisions that stay in touch with what is most important to you.
This is how you live your purpose,
To follow that thread of the light of your soul.
This is a new way of thinking.
Perhaps in the past,
You've made decisions by analyzing your options,
Calculating outcomes to minimize the chance for failure and to maximize the chance of success.
So breathe as you settle into a new way,
A new way of being with decisions,
Beginning to relax as you settle in.
As you become familiar with this process,
Using it on a regular basis,
You will find that more and more decisions are not decisions at all.
They are clear openings into the next obvious step.
Think of a time when you have experienced this,
When there was just a gut feeling,
An inner knowing,
When you followed your heart,
Allowing it to show you the way.
Use this process anytime you are at a decision point to respond from your most connected self.
In alignment with your life purpose.
Small decisions like how you respond to the people in your life,
What you eat or what you choose to say yes to or no to on a regular basis.
These decisions lay the foundation for the bigger decisions and the life changes that are part of your life's path.
This is how you create flow.
Listening to your body offers the inner guidance and knowing to support you.
So one step seamlessly leads into the next,
With ease.
We all have experience of making decisions out of fear.
Fear of being judged,
Wanting to be liked or accepted,
Or wanting to avoid hurting someone.
These reasons come from outside of you and may not align with your highest path.
You know these feelings,
A knot or a sinking feeling in your gut or that feeling of a heavy heart.
There are lots of ways that your body communicates with you if you are open to listening and then following that guidance.
Making the time to slow down and listen to your inner guidance supports you in leading a life of courage,
One that serves your highest good and the highest good of others.
So breathe and bring to mind a decision you are contemplating.
Lightly hold it in your mind as you deepen your breath.
See if you can formulate a clear question about what you are contemplating.
And then let that thought go as we journey deeper within your own being,
Trusting that you have the wisdom within you to guide you.
There is nothing else to do right now but breathe and tune into the inner world of sensation.
Noticing the sensations of your body,
Noticing any tension,
Any places where you are holding on,
Noticing your thoughts.
And as you notice your thoughts,
You might imagine that you are putting them into a balloon,
Allowing them to just float away.
Noticing what it feels like to soften your mind.
Like your mind is like a fist that is slowly unclenching,
Opening.
Taking curiosity just for a moment to the general tone of your thoughts.
Are they racing?
Judgmental?
Are they supportive?
Perhaps other words or sensations come to mind.
Just notice.
Are they familiar?
Have you had these thoughts before?
Or are they new thoughts?
Just noticing,
Being curious for a moment of what's happening in your mind and then letting it go.
Knowing there is a light above you,
Pouring into the top of your head.
You are opening and drinking in this light.
As you relax and let go.
Noticing as you breathe light into your mind how the tone shifts,
Softens.
Perhaps noticing a new space of quiet,
Of calmness.
Riding on your own breath as it flows in and out.
And now moving your awareness into your gut.
Just placing your hand over your belly as you deepen your breath into that area.
Noticing the sensations in this area of your body.
Noticing any tightness or heaviness or softness.
If the sensation in your gut was a color,
What color is it?
Knowing that there's no right or wrong here.
You're simply sensing and noticing our own body.
Then you allow your breath to soften the sensations in your gut area.
Perhaps even appreciating how this part of your body transforms food into energy.
Noticing the vital importance and intelligence of this part of you as you breathe.
Our gut sends us messages throughout the day,
Tightening when we are nervous.
Maybe the feeling of butterflies in our stomach when we're excited with anticipation.
It also communicates with us when it senses that something is off.
How does your gut communicate with you?
And now bringing your attention to your heart and the space around it.
Noticing the sensations all the way from your solar plexus into your throat area.
You may want to place your hand on your heart as you notice these sensations.
Perhaps you can feel your heartbeat.
Noticing if you feel any tightness or heaviness.
Perhaps you feel pain.
Perhaps you feel open.
Or maybe you feel nothing at all.
Whatever you are sensing in this area,
Notice what color it is.
How big is this sensation?
What shape is it?
Do you feel open?
Do you feel strong?
Perhaps you feel a little reserved?
There's no right answer.
Just breathe as you notice.
Feeling a softening into your heart with every breath.
Noticing a light deep within your heart.
Always there.
Always glowing deep within.
And as you breathe you are melting any layers of protection around your heart.
Revealing more and more of this light.
Realizing appreciation for your heart as it pumps vitality through your body.
Feeling that light deep within your heart growing brighter and brighter with every breath.
Your heart is intelligent.
It connects the wisdom of your higher mind with the deep wisdom within your body.
Ask your heart to reveal its wisdom to you.
Just breathe.
And now let's check in about the decision at hand.
You can use this process anytime you need to make an important decision or when you want to move through confusion or doubt.
Think of a decision that you want to make.
And as you take three slow breaths,
Gather your awareness.
Startups,
Bringing your attention to your head and noticing any thoughts related to the current situation in front of you dropping your awareness into your gut area tuning into any hunches,
Intuition or emotions that might be present as it relates to this current choice that needs to be made and at the end of your next exhale coming into your heart taking a moment to attend to what values you have in the situation what you care about,
What your biggest intention is taking a slow deep breath all the way in and all the way out collecting all this information you have gathered and asking this question from deep within yourself what is possible here?
What is the highest and best next step?
And simply listening for the answer paying attention to any sensations or feelings that arise noticing any images or words,
Any thoughts or ideas give yourself the space for this knowing to arise trusting that you will know when it does you may receive an answer right away or it may come to you as you go about your day build in time to relax and receive these messages perhaps on a walk,
Perhaps through music maybe an idea that comes to you in the shower or during meditation you can trust that you are supported by this powerful wisdom within yourself make note of the answers that you receive and when you're ready take action on them because that's how you affirm your trust in this process this meditation is very powerful and can help you connect to your whole self and make more mindful,
