In this soothing journey, we will open the flow of energy to shift a small discomfort. The energy in your body needs to flow. Under stress, this flow can be blocked, resulting in muscle tightness, pain, stomach aches, and fatigue. Every shift you make has reverberations and impact on your entire system, supporting increased vibrancy and wellbeing. Hi,

This is Donna Dyer.

I invite you to settle in as we set the space for self healing.

In this journey,

We will harmonize your energy and open up the flow in your system.

Energy needs to flow.

And it can sometimes become entangled through stress,

For instance,

Restricting that flow.

That can result in muscle aches,

Tightness,

Stomach aches,

Pain,

And over time it can cause other challenges.

When you open up the flow of energy,

You bring new life into your system,

Setting the space for self healing.

So settle in.

Relax as you soften and deepen your breath.

Gently notice any areas of your body where you have been experiencing discomfort that you'd like to work with.

And if the area is a big area,

Or something that has been going on for a long time,

Choose a small part of it for this exercise.

Because any shift is an important shift and has reverberations throughout your entire system.

And if you don't have any areas of specific discomfort,

Choose an area of your body where you would like to experience an even greater sense of vibrancy and aliveness.

Bring your attention to the qualities of the discomfort that you'd like to work on.

Is it hot or cold?

Burning or aching?

Tingling or dull?

Just notice.

Notice how big it is for small.

If there's a shape to it.

And if it were a color,

What color would it be?

And then let all of that go.

We'll come back to it in just a little bit.

Bring your attention to your heart.

Breathing into your heart.

Feeling the space.

Set your intention for this practice.

You might say something like,

I bring ease,

Flow,

And wellbeing into my experience.

And now imagine that you are in a beautiful place in nature.

Sense the expansiveness.

The weather is perfect.

You see a waterfall nearby and feel called to go to it.

And as you get closer,

You notice it is actually made of light.

You step into the waterfall of light and you feel the shift that it brings to your entire being.

Washing you.

Clearing you.

Refreshing you.

Soothing you.

Feeling any stress just wash away.

Letting that light flow in to the top of your head.

Relaxing your scalp.

Your eyes.

The muscles around your eyes.

Relaxing your jaw.

Feeling any expression on your face just relax away as you let go.

Relaxing your shoulders.

Your chest.

Feeling that light opening you up,

Warming you up.

Relaxing your stomach.

All the way down your back.

Breathing all the way into your stomach and exhaling with a sigh.

Letting the relaxation and soothing flow into your low back,

Your hips,

Down your legs and all the way down to your feet.

Relaxing all the stress leaving as you continue to breathe and release.

And begin to sense the energy around you.

Feeling flow and ease.

Sensing a new lightness in and around your body.

Harmonizing your energy field and entering into a state of flow.

Sensing the energy radiating out from your heart.

Soothing and harmonizing the energy throughout your body and all around you.

And now holding your energy steady in this expanded state,

Bring to mind that area that you want to work with.

You are looking at the area that you want to shift,

To experience more vitality and more physical ease.

Deepening your breath.

Notice how this area is connected to and related to all of the areas around it.

So even if you are focused on just a small area to shift,

One little shift has reverberations throughout your entire system.

All the while continue to expand the energy in your heart.

Expanding the energy through your body and feeling yourself in this state of flow.

Feeling lighter.

Feeling brighter.

Feeling ease.

You don't need to try to change anything.

Just hold yourself in this space of ease and your experience that you would like to shift at the same time.

Or go back and forth.

And we're going to do that now.

Letting go of the area you're focused on.

Feeling light coming into your heart.

This radiant light filling your heart and your body and the spaces all around you.

And then noticing that area you want to shift,

Holding it in your attention.

Noticing it.

All the little details.

And then letting that area go and come back to your heart.

Enhancing your experience of light.

Expanding the light in your heart and in your body.

Feeling that ease.

Brilliant.

Expanding.

Flowing light.

And then noticing that area again that you would like to shift,

Holding it in this space.

Getting curious about this energy and about how it's influencing the area you would like to shift.

And then letting that area go.

Coming back to your heart and enhancing your energy.

Feeling your heart expand.

Flowing light all the way through your system.

Pulsing light.

Through your body and beyond.

And then noticing that area again that you would like to shift.

Good.

Now bringing your awareness back to that flow of energy in your body.

Flowing from your heart.

Ease.

That sense of ease and flow in and around your body.

Continue to deepen your breath as you settle in again to this feeling of flow.

And then once again,

Noticing that area you are bringing more vitality to,

This time,

Notice if it has shifted at all and if so,

How.

If it's changed in some way,

Notice if there is a new sensation there now.

And if it shifts just for a moment and then comes back,

You have accomplished the most challenging part of this exercise.

You have held your energy steady and set the tone for harmony,

Causing a shift.

And that's good.

Enhancing your energy even more.

Radiating that light from your heart.

Feeling ease and flow throughout your entire body.

And then bring your attention back to that area of discomfort where you want more physical ease,

More vitality.

And this time,

Notice if you can find other patterns,

Perhaps imagining that you can magnify the area to find different patterns or put your awareness inside the area you are focused on,

Bringing more harmony there.

Just play with this,

Exploring new ways to sense the energy in your body.

Exploring new ways to shift.

All the while maintaining your awareness of your energy flow at the same time,

Expanding the energy in your heart.

Feeling light radiating from your core and your heart throughout your entire body and even beyond.

You are grounded,

You are radiant and you are noticing all at once.

Notice the area that you would like to shift and notice if anything has changed.

Again,

If it shifts just for a moment and returns,

That is the work.

Experiment with how you might maintain the flow.

Be curious,

Be inventive,

Observe what is happening on a subtle level.

If you don't notice anything at first,

Remember,

You cannot directly control this.

What you can do is increase your sense of flow,

Come back to your heart and sense that subtle energy and ease.

You might try taking a smaller part of the area,

Perhaps something that is within your skill level,

Within your confidence level right now.

And then letting that go and one last time making yourself radiant with light.

Feeling light pulsing out from your heart into all the areas of your body.

Feeling ease,

Feeling flow.

Savoring this lightness and expansion.

Breathing into your heart.

You may want to place your hands on your heart,

Acknowledging yourself for taking the time to bring more ease,

More flow and healing into your life.

The work you are doing makes a difference.

Remembering your intention for this practice.

I bring ease,

Flow and wellbeing into my experience.

And when you are ready,

Stretch your body,

Coming fully back,

Feeling relaxed.
