Without delving into the root cause of nightmares, in this course, you'll learn to transform your bad dreams into good dreams. I've adapted the core principles and practices of Imagery Rehearsal Therapy (the gold standard treatment for chronic nightmares) into a 10-lesson, guided audio course. In these 10 lessons, you'll learn how to approach the problem of recurring nightmares so you can learn to let them go, transform the very mechanics of the mind so it produces pleasant dreams rather than the repeated unpleasant or disturbing dreams you've had for so long. First we'll focus on understanding why nightmares happen in the first place, why they tend to last for so long, how it's possible to change them into good dreams, and finally, the techniques and practices you need to implement in order to manifest the changes you want. You deserve to sleep through the night without being reminded of past struggles or trauma. Take this course and learn how to get that healthy restful sleep and let your nightmares finally become a thing of the past.

Lektion 1
Improving Sleep & Nightmares
This is the first lesson in the course. First, a brief medical disclaimer so you're aware this material is not for everyone; it's not therapy although for some it can be very therapeutic. Next, to start Lesson 1, we introduce some useful information about nightmare disorder, insomnia, how the two relate, tips and tricks for improving sleep... and how we'll approach these topics throughout the course.
Lektion 2
The Nature Of Nightmares
Lesson 2 in the guided course. In this lesson, we cover a bit about the nature of nightmares. Why we have nightmares in the first place, why they tend to last so long for some people, and what to do about it.
Lektion 3
Preparing For Imagery Techniques
Lesson 3 in the course. In this lesson we categorize nightmares so you know which kinds of nightmares to work with in the course. We also introduce imagery exercises and techniques to implement for those nightmares... and more.
Lektion 4
Beginning Imagery Practice
Lesson 4 in the course. Here we bring some clarity to mental processes and offer new techniques for stopping unpleasant imagery during the visualization exercises.
Lektion 5
Shifting Focus Onto Nightmares
Lesson 5 in the course. Here we introduce the first positive imagery exercise. We also discuss how to use this technique with nightmares in order to change them to more pleasant dreams.
Lektion 6
Transforming Your First Nightmare
Lesson 6. Now that you've chosen a nightmare to work with, in this lesson you'll learn how to implement the techniques and actually bring on some changes to your dreams.
Lektion 7
Imagery Rehearsal
Lesson 7 -- Introducing the Imagery Rehearsal exercise with the nightmare you've chosen. Here, you can begin transforming your nightmares into good dreams.
Lektion 8
Cultivating Change
Lesson 8 - Now that you've learned how to do the exercise, we'll move on to more long-term practice. We discuss how this process of changing dreams from bad to good is a natural part of the healing process. Also, we cover the protocol for the practice: 1. Jot down a nightmare of low to moderate intensity (or if you want, just write a title since you know what the nightmare involves). 2. Change the dream to something new in any way you wish. 3. Make the new dream pleasant or neutral… something that wouldn’t bother you at all. Practice rehearsing that new dream 1 - 30 minutes PER DAY for 4 days in a row, ignore the other dreams that come up during this time. 4. After the 4 days if you want to change another dream, go ahead and move on to that one. Limit to working with only 1-2 dreams per week. Note: This is rehearsal; conditioning a new habit, let the repetition work for you on one dream at a time. Don’t jump around from dream to dream too fast.
Lektion 9
Tips & Tricks In Practice
Lesson 9 - Here we cover tips and tricks for a successful practice. As the course nears its end and you begin to practice on your own, the guidance in this lesson will be very useful. Remember, it's your creative process and your commitment to the practice that makes it work.
Lektion 10
Long Term Success
Lesson 10 - As we conclude the course, this lesson is filled with insights for what to expect as you practice on your own. You've learned to change the way your mind produces imagery. You know now, that conditioning and forming new mental habits is the key. This final lesson will guide you towards a successful practice as you move forward. Please post questions and comments in the discussion forum and we can discuss further.
