He is a Certified Mindfulness Teacher and has worked in Sleep Medicine for over 11 years with experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, Imagery Rehearsal for Nightmares, and Sleep & Dream Research. Jason has created a Mindfulness-Based Lucid Dreaming course here on Insight Timer designed to teach three major skillsets: Dream Awareness, Lucid Dreaming, and Mindfulness. He has also created a Mindfulness for Insomnia course which is grounded in the principles and practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTI) which is the Gold Standard treatment for Insomnia. This course teaches the basics of sleep hygiene, how to prevent insomnia, and how to understand and manage insomnia if it has already developed. Jason is the founder of the Mind Awake App which is an app for improving sleep and dreams.
