This is a meditation for any moment that you feel stressed,
Anxious,
Overwhelmed,
Scared.
Use this to reconnect with you.
Find yourself somewhere comfortable,
Somewhere where you can feel grounded,
Relaxed.
Take a few deep breaths.
First breath,
Breathe in deeply through your nose.
Hold it at the top for an extra second or two and release it through your mouth.
On your second breath,
Pulling in deeply,
Following the breath up through your nose all the way into your stomach.
And as you exhale,
Follow the air back out.
On your third breath,
Breathe in and just notice.
Notice what your body feels like.
Any sensations that come up around you.
Any tension.
And connect with the beautiful body that's holding your soul.
With your hands out on your lap and your eyes closed,
I want you to start at your left hand.
Starting at your thumb,
I want you to picture it without moving your hand in your mind's eye.
Follow and trace your thumb.
Look at all the details of your thumbnail,
Your knuckles and trace around and start imagining your first finger.
Notice the curves,
The wrinkles and start making your way across the rest of your hand.
All the way to the pinky with a clear vision of that hand,
Of your hand.
Now I want you to trace that all the way up past your wrist and with your mind only,
Trace it all the way up your arm.
Imagine going up your arm across your shoulder,
All the way to the base of your neck and travel across your chest to the other side of your neck,
To your other shoulder,
To your right shoulder and start to imagine going down.
Going down your arm,
All the way down to your wrist,
Over your right pinky and start picturing every detail of your right hand sitting there.
As you make your way across your fingers back to your right thumb,
Just notice the beauty in your body,
In the details.
Now I want you to move your attention to your heart.
Enter your heart beating,
Keeping you alive,
Keeping you moving forward.
And as you listen to that heart,
What comes up?
What is your heart asking?
What does your heart need from you?
Is it hurting?
Does it feel small?
Does it feel lonely?
Ask your heart what it needs you to hear.
What does it need from you?
And truly listen while giving it so much love back.
Hear everything it's sharing.
Because this heart is what has kept you moving.
It is what has kept you growing,
Living,
Thriving.
It's also what's gotten bruised,
Battered,
Banged up.
But every day,
Every moment,
It still beats.
It is your life force.
It is your essence.
Want you to take a hand and put it over your heart and feel heat and energy coming from that hand right into the center of the heart,
Fueling it,
Soothing it,
Holding it,
Letting it know how grateful you are,
Letting it know how precious it is,
How cherished it is.
Feel the heat and the energy and the gratitude from your hand right into your chest.
Feel the power that you can bring to yourself when you connect.
Thank it.
Thank it for always showing up,
For always being there.
Let it know how loved it is.
Let it know how needed it is.
Let it know how beautiful it is.
As you communicate with it,
Remember that is you.
Every ounce of beauty,
Of soul,
Of light,
Of love is you.
And even when it's hard,
When it's scary,
When it's overwhelming,
When it's lonely,
When it's tiring,
You are always there.
At any moment,
You can always find you.
Sometimes it takes a few moments.
Sometimes it takes slowing down.
Sometimes it takes asking.
But you have always shown up for you.
That is what has gotten you to this very moment in this lifetime.
So take a moment and honor yourself.
Honor your strength,
Your love,
Your tenderness,
Your resilience,
Your curiosity,
Your openness.
Honor you for you and know that you will walk step by step with you every day.
Take one more deep breath and breathe in every bit of your essence,
Filling that heart up,
Bringing the two of you together.
As you fill your lungs,
Hold it,
Hold every bit of who you are,
Who you be,
All of your light,
Hold it deep and then let it go.
And know that in the next breath,
You can bring it right back in.
Now open your eyes and connect.
Look down at those hands,
At your legs,
At your feet,
At your arms,
At that body and smile because that's you.
