Feel your body.
Notice your breath.
And just notice the stillness that you can create.
Follow your breath in through your nose,
Down through the back of your throat all the way down to your chest,
To your stomach.
Feel it fill your body and then release out.
And become aware of how beautiful the breath is.
What is it a representation of?
The exchange of energy.
The recycling of energy.
Because in times like this we can often absorb a lot.
Sometimes we are taking,
Taking and feeling it all come into our body.
And other times we spend putting energy outward.
Outward,
Outward,
Outward.
And regardless of the direction that we are either receiving or giving,
There comes a moment when we stop and we're tired.
Because we haven't been allowing the energy to come in and out,
In and out and really transmute that as it enters our bodies.
So the breath is such an excellent metaphor for how we live our life.
We breathe in,
We let it fill us and then we breathe out and we put it back into the world ready for our next breath.
So I want you to imagine that process happening with every breath right now.
In and out through the nose.
And feel what happens to your body as you become balanced.
The awareness.
The calmness.
So simple.
Yet it's something we forget to do,
We forget to breathe.
We forget to notice the breath.
So I want you to take something going on in your life right now.
A worry,
A fear.
And I want you to bring it in to your breath.
So every breath you take you're actually breathing in that worry and fear.
With your eyes closed see it coming into your body.
What does it feel like as you start to feel that enter?
Do you feel yourself tense up?
Now start to imagine the minute it enters your heart,
It comes through the mouth down into your chest,
Your lungs,
By your heart.
The minute it enters your heart,
Your heart sprinkles love all over it.
And then you let it back out.
In,
Sprinkle the love and back out.
In,
Sprinkle the love and back out.
Feel yourself get lighter as you send it back out because you're not just getting rid of it.
You're changing it within you and you're putting it back in the world not as the fear and the worry that you felt when it came in but you're putting it back out as love,
As peace,
As light.
So it's not just about keeping ourselves clean from our fears,
Our overwhelm,
Our stresses,
But it's about feeling empowered to change it within us.
The power of the soul.
The power of the soul.
That we can take something in,
Something that we don't love or like,
Something that's scary,
Something that's uncomfortable.
We can take it in and we are so powerful that we can change its existence with inside of us and push it out into the world as a gift.
We are that powerful that the most dark,
Scary,
Uncomfortable things can be breathed in,
Can be brought into our soul,
Into our hearts and that there's so much light and love within us.
That all we do is see it,
Shower it with love and send it away as a gift.
And imagine what our world would look like and feel like right now if every single human did that.
If every single human took every concern,
Thought,
Fear and empowered themselves to turn it into love and to give it away.
The brightness that would shine through.
And I'm sure you're seeing this,
You're seeing bits of this all over because some people are doing it.
And this is something every single one of us can do.
And not just in global times of crisis,
But at any moment of our day,
Throughout any moment of our life.
So sit with your breath for three more breaths and feel it,
Feel the power.
The one thing that we do automatically as humans.
It's our most powerful.
Now as you sit there,
I want you to take one big deep breath in to fill your lungs and your whole body.
And I want you to hold it at the top.
And as you sit there at the top with all of that anxiety and worry,
I want you to clench your fists and your whole body and tense it up.
Feel what it feels like to hold all of that inside you.
Hold it,
Hold it,
Hold it,
Hold it.
And feel it start to dissipate inside.
It's disintegrating,
It's disintegrating and you're showering it with love and your heart is all over.
And then you let it go with a big sigh out into the world.
Wiggle your fingers,
Roll your shoulders,
Come back to the space that you're in.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
