
Morning Meditation For Anxiety And Overthinking
This meditation is perfect for any time you're experiencing anxious energy, worry/concern, or overthinking. It allows your brain to rest and you to drop back into your body. Includes: box breathing + a brief visualization to melt any tension. Optional journaling prompts: If you feel open, curious, and resourced today, let your journal be a safe container. 1) Name it: List anything that feels connected to anxiety right now (big or small). 2) Set it down: Don’t fix it. Place each item on the page like you’re setting it on a table. Let the page hold it. 3) Breathe + release: Every few lines: slow inhale… longer exhale. Let the exhale be “letting go.” 4) No judgment: You’re safe to be honest here. 5) Re-orient to gratitude: Write 3 things you’re grateful for (even tiny ones). Life can be hard, AND there is still good here. There is space for all your feelings. 6) Thank you for listening 7) Seal the container Go gently. Nothing specific needs to happen here.
