Join Dali for this short meditation, intended to help you restore peace in your day at times when you may feel a little anxious, stressed, or worried. Two easy-to-remember questions to add to your toolbox should help you to contemplate the situation that is causing you to feel, perhaps, overwhelmed.

Hello and welcome to this short meditation intended to help you restore peace I think it's important to recognize that we will,

At least once every day,

Experience peace and calm It may be fleeting,

It may linger and sometimes we won't even notice it The two questions I'm going to have you ask yourself in a moment should hopefully make it easier for you to restore peace at those times when you may be feeling restless,

Anxious,

Stressed,

Worried or any other emotion that might have knocked you off center or caused a slight wobble Or maybe you just feel overwhelmed Assuming you're in a comfortable position,

If not,

Please pause the recording and get comfortable before carrying on Allow your eyelids to gently close over And let your attention rest on the point where your breath enters your body This could be the tip of your nose,

Around your nostrils or across your lips if you're breathing through your mouth Whatever is right for you is perfectly fine Just watch as your breath slowly enters your body,

Nourishes you and slowly leaves Stay with that for the next 30 seconds or so And staying with the breath,

We come to the first of the two questions Remembering to ask yourself these at times when you're not feeling peaceful Hopefully we can restore peace in your day Thinking about whatever it is that's causing you to not feel peaceful Question one is what would need to happen for me to feel at peace?

I'll give you a minute to consider this,

Keep your answer in mind as we move to the second question Which is am I in control of this happening?

Am I in control of this happening?

Again,

I'll give you a minute to consider the answer Am I in control of this happening?

This being the answer to the first question,

What would need to happen for me to feel at peace?

Am I in control of this?

If the answer is yes,

Then I encourage you,

If it's safe to do so,

To make that change Or put in place whatever you need to for peace to be restored in your day If the answer is no,

I'm not in control of this happening If the answer is no,

I encourage you to let go of your attachment,

Your suffering And just let it play out There's nothing you can do Take comfort in knowing that you can't change the outcome What will be,

Will be Acceptance of that is key to you feeling at peace So just to recap The first question is,

What would need to happen for me to feel at peace?

Followed by,

Am I in control of this happening?

Sometimes all we need is reminders of practices we've already learned So don't forget,

After this,
