Welcome to your session today.
My name is Shanna Moyer and I have the pleasure of enveloping you in this delicious,
Compassionate session intentionally designed to bring you into the space of regulation as you drift off to sleep.
You can bookend your days with entering the day and drifting to sleep.
These two meditations work in tandem to ensure that you are consistently in a space of regulation where you feel safe and you feel grounded.
If you have done the entering the day session with me before,
Some of these affirmations may feel repetitive or familiar to you.
That is intentional.
We are creating an internal system of safety,
Of feeling calm and at peace within.
So as you get comfortable,
Prepare your space for sleep.
Dim your lights,
Shut them off,
Close your blinds and quiet the worlds from the outside.
Crawl into bed,
Wrap yourself up in warmth,
Close the windows of your eyes and just listen.
I will repeat several affirmations a few times over and when you feel like you want to join in,
You are welcome to,
But it is not required for today,
For this evening.
The goal with this session is that by the end of it,
You've drifted off to sleep gently and mindfully.
A slow in and out with your breath.
Hands may be resting on your belly or your heart.
The noise in your mind is quieting down.
The light behind your eyes growing dark.
I am safe.
