My name is Cori,
Sit down with me,
Straighten your spine and get comfortable,
Breathe in nice and deep and settle into your body.
See if you can relax your shoulders down but keep your spine nice and straight.
Focus on relaxing your face,
Especially your jaw,
So your face and your jaw doesn't feel tense or tight.
And then to tune into your body,
It's really simple,
It just takes getting quiet,
Get quiet with me and start to pull all of your focus and attention inside of your body.
Just do a quick overall feel,
What does your body feel like?
And then start to breathe into your heart space and feel what your heart feels like.
Notice the physical sensations,
Notice the weight,
The lightness,
Whether there's any emotion present.
Tune into your shoulders,
What do your shoulders feel like?
The sensation of your shoulders will seep down into your arms and down your upper back,
So pay attention to that.
Tune into your forehead and the top of your head,
Notice if they feel tight,
Strained,
Heavy,
Open,
Light,
What does your forehead and around your eyes and across the top of your head feel like?
All the while being still and quiet.
Tune into your lower back,
Is your lower back tight or does it feel limber and loose?
Finally tune into your knees,
Do you have any pains or discomfort or do your knees feel really good today?
Your knees represent your ability to bend,
Metaphorically,
Physically but metaphorically.
Are you being stubborn or flexible?
Your lower back represents the weight of the world.
Are you being supported,
Do you have any financial issues?
Your shoulders represent burden,
What are you carrying?
Your heart is the center of all things,
It's always good to tune into your heart space.
It represents the balance between material and spiritual,
Your male and female,
The earth,
The sky.
Your forehead is where the third eye lies,
Your inner sight,
Your ability to see life more clearly and the top of your head is your crown,
Your connection to source,
The cosmos and all that is.
Namaste my friend.
