Close down your eyes and settle right in.

Tonight's sleepy story is about to begin.

With a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Can you stretch out your body and let any wiggles come out?

Now close down your eyes and take another breath in as we start to use your imagination.

Imagine yourself in a garden filled with flowers.

Feeling the warm sun touching your skin.

Your arms and legs are calm and still,

Just like if your body magically became one of the flowers in the garden.

And as you lie still and take deep breaths in and out,

Imagine a little blue butterfly starts to fly around you.

The butterfly is so tired from a long day of exploring,

And he comes to rest right on top of your head.

Butterfly's tiny feet dancing lightly on your forehead,

Relaxing your mind and making it slow down.

The butterfly's soft wings brush your cheeks like a summer breeze.

And you feel your eyes becoming sleepy too as he grazes over your eyelids.

Take a deep breath in and let the air out as he flutters down your neck.

Butterfly lands on your shoulders,

First the right and then the left,

Making them heavier each time he lands.

Butterfly slowly moves down each of your arms,

Making them feel heavy too.

Butterfly opens your hands and lands on each tiny fingertip,

Kissing each one goodnight.

Butterfly rests on your belly,

Saying goodnight to any worries left in there from today.

Butterfly floats down each leg as they tingle and get sleepy.

The little blue butterfly flitters down to your feet,

Sweeping each toe softly with its wings.

Butterfly is so sleepy,

And it's time to say goodnight.

So take a big breath in to your sleepy stomach,

And blow the air back through your mouth as you send our sleepy little butterfly back up to the sky.
