If you woke up tomorrow and suddenly had everything you've ever wished for,
You'd have no idea how you got there.
It's the process of going through it.
The experiencing.
It's how you become you.

As we begin,
Let's take this time to center ourselves.
This practice today focuses on being grateful for the process.
Because without gratitude,
Everything can feel like nothing.
And with gratitude,
Nothing can feel like everything.
So we do this by finding a comfortable position.
Whatever feels right for you is right.
Aiming for a state of alertness and focus,
While also remaining relaxed and open.
Gently close your eyes if they aren't already.
As we begin,
With a few deep breath cycles.
Inhaling calm.
Exhaling relaxation.
As your body breathes in,
Take a slight pause before the exhale.
Gently inviting yourself to soften as the breath flows out.
There's no right or wrong way to do this.
The only thing that really matters is that you are.
Shifting your focus to your facial muscles.
And down to your shoulders.
The areas that hold the tension for us.
And just inviting them to relax as well.
Continuing your deep breathing cycles as you inhale through the nose.
And exhale.
Your body instinctively knows how to breathe for you.
We continue in the theme of gratitude.
As we pause here.
To experience gratitude for your body.
For the countless ways your body serves you each day.
The way it holds a beating heart and lungs to breathe.
How it moves you through life.
So we take this next silent moment to appreciate it as a whole.
For enabling your soul to experience life.
And now we direct our attention to gratitude for what lies outside the body.
To the important people in your life.
Bringing their faces one at a time to the front of your mind.
Bringing forward those who make you feel like yourself around them.
The ones who want nothing but the best for you.
The ones who celebrate your successes and listen to your dreams.
Taking this next silent moment to feel gratitude for them.
As you send them a silent thank you.
Once again,
We change where the arrow of gratitude is pointing.
As you consider your surroundings.
The places in your life that bring you comfort and security.
Silently expressing gratitude for these spaces and the roles they play in your life.
And finally,
We extend gratitude to the experiences and opportunities that find their way to us.
Acknowledging how each event in your life has shaped you into who you are today.
The joyful moments that bring happiness as soon as you think of them.
But also gratitude for the challenging times that have fostered growth and change.
Your experiences are what make you strong.
They've given you direction and purpose.
They may not always feel like a blessing in the moment,
But everything that happens is on purpose.
And it's all been hand-picked just for you.
To teach resilience.
For you to grow and learn,
If you choose to.
And experiences that are shaping you into who you are.
You are here.
Right where you need to be.
You are surrounded by a life being lived on purpose.
So take a final deep breath in.
Letting the air filling your lungs remind you that even something as simple as the act of breathing is a gift.
A gift for another day.
A gift for another moment.
A gift for another day.
Beginning to bring your mind back into your body.
And when you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes and return to your surroundings.
