Feel yourself here,
Sitting.
Make sure the spine is upright,
Shoulders relax,
Face relax,
Eyes relax.
And then slightly tuck in the chin,
Because we're not chasing after anything.
We're just here.
And feel this here-ness,
The space of your body sitting.
There's an immediate sense of silence and presence when we bring the attention inward.
Something's not moving.
Feel this.
Know this.
Mean what the body's breathing.
So there's this subtle movement of expansion on the in-breath and returning on the out-breath.
And being with that movement,
It's also noticing it's not going anywhere.
There's nothing going to be achieved.
It's just this breathing in this moment,
Relaxing your face,
The eyes,
Relaxing the mind.
There's nothing you have to get or to think out or to solve.
Just be here.
Just be quiet.
Resting in this quietness,
In this space of pure being.
Then if the mind starts to run off,
Just notice it.
No,
It is not me.
It is just thoughts.
Decide to just be here,
To be quiet.
What could improve on this stillness,
This peace of just being?
Be fulfilled in this moment with nothing lacking,
Nothing in excess.
Resting in yourself,
Carefree.
And this is a place to return to now and as many times as you wish during the day.
Just being in this place here now,
Quietly,
Peacefully.
Not running off into future or past.
Just here as you are.
