In this short guided meditation, we will focus on the sense of being. Thoughts and feelings are transient, but our presence is continuous, it just is. Just observe all inner experiences coming and going, and begin to realise that what you really are is just this presence. Timeless and unperturbed.

Okay Let's take a deep breath.

And arrive here in the sitting itself.

The experience of your body.

Which is like a space without boundaries.

In the sense that there's no clear boundaries.

Just a field of sensations.

Notice this.

Some warmth.

Some pressure.

Some tingling.

So don't attach the idea of this is me when the body is experienced.

You can notice tingling and warmth.

Movement.

It is not you.

Just observe.

You are here before the body is experienced.

And after.

You are beyond the body.

Feel the sense of pure presence.

Who are you if not the body?

There's the experience of thought.

We rarely assume that I am thinking.

That what the thoughts say is about me.

I like this.

I like that.

I don't like this or that.

They're just thoughts.

You are before these thoughts.

You are here before they arrive and after they're gone.

What is it that is always here with thoughts and with that?

Feel that sense of pure presence.

Know yourself to be this.

Just here.

You are free.

Not determined by any thoughts or feelings.

You are.

Any experience that comes up,

Whether it's just hearing or any emotion,

It is all temporary.

These are visitors.

Hearing for a while,

Feeling for a while,

Thinking for a while.

And before you know,

It is all gone.

But you're still here.

Notice this.

Don't try to hold on to even the subtlest of feelings.

You don't need to.

You will always be here,

With or without those feelings or thoughts.

Don't make that type of effort to try and be something or feel something.

There is no need.

Question this.

Who am I really?

Not with the mind,

But by looking.

Think your way through that.

Just notice what is here all the time and cannot be taken away.

Your presence.

This pure presence has always been here and will always be here.

You are free.

Not depending on any circumstance or any experience.

Nothing in this world is hard.

So.

I love this, a short but very deep and profound meditation, the space and the silence was very welcome. I felt like the ocean and my thoughts and feelings were the fishes swimming through it . πŸ™πŸͺ·
