Take a deep breath.
And relax.
Kindly,
Softly bringing the attention inward.
Just becoming aware of sitting.
And noticing sensations in the body without specific interest.
Just noticing.
Maybe there's warmth or tension or weight or a sense of space.
Noticing also the mere effect of being present.
And aware.
Noticing the breathing,
Some movement going on in the body by itself naturally.
Also noticing the noticing.
Noticing attention is aware of the breathing.
Maybe this sounds strange but when the attention goes into thinking or listening,
This is also noticed.
When attention returns to the breath,
This is noticed.
So whatever is there now,
Just noticing.
Nothing to do,
Nothing to create.
If the mind is very busy,
Remembering the past,
Planning the future or trying to understand it all.
And this is seen as just a functioning of mind.
Notice again this presence.
Knowing you are here.
Noticing also this space,
A sense of space,
A space of awareness.
A silence in which the experiences appear.
But even space or silence are perceived.
By what are they perceived?
You are eternally here,
Timelessly.
Before the sense of space arose and after the sense of space went back to oblivion.
When the space of,
The sense of space disappeared,
You were still here.
Timelessly here.
Confirm this for yourself.
This here-ness,
This being-ness.
That in itself has no shape.
No flavour.
It just is.
Don't try to understand this with your mind.
It's too abstract for the mind.
But it's most vivid for the heart.
Knowing that you are.
You are.
You are.
Independent of whatever may arise or not arise.
Are you not here?
This is enough.
Therefore,
There's nothing you need to do.
There's nothing special you need to be.
You are.
This is given.
And it is all there is.
So anything may arise,
Maybe a thought will come or a feeling or a bodily feeling.
A bodily sensation may come.
So if we're completely unaware,
Then,
Or not mindful,
Then we just suffer or enjoy trying to hold on or to push away.
With a sense of struggle.
And insecurity.
Sometimes elated and sometimes disappointed.
But the mere fact that these are visitors shows you that it cannot be you.
And that you cannot depend on it.
So if happy feeling comes,
It is observed,
Naturally,
Something knows this is happy feeling appearing in the experience.
But it will go and it will change.
And you are still here.
So with mindfulness we start to become more aware of the things as visitors.
This is here now,
Seeing it change,
And then it will go.
But where even whether there is mindfulness or there's no mindfulness,
You are here.
There is a presence.
So the mindfulness creates a sense of distance,
Of freedom.
Knowing you are not the experience,
But you're watching it.
Then you should know that even whether you're watching or not watching,
You are here.
And not meaning so much you are here as the body is here,
But something is just timelessly here.
And all this is experiencing is appearing in it is experienced in it.
Just be.
This being that timelessly is.
As the true source of joy,
Peace and love.
Right.
It cannot leave you.
It is you.
It is you.
It is your heart.
It is you.
We are one in this.
There is no separation.
Let go of any efforts or concerns.
They are just ripples on the surface of the ocean.
Waves.
But the ocean will not disappear,
Will not change.
Because you are here,
Timelessly,
Not as something.
Just purely be.
