Welcome to your meditation practice.
Take a moment and get comfortable.
Bring your attention inside,
Perhaps closing your eyes and just filtering your attention into your body,
Noticing how you're doing physically,
Your mental chatter,
Any emotions that might be present.
We will start by using an energy medicine technique by Donna Eden that will help us to ground and soothe our nervous system.
If you have glasses on I'll invite you to take those off.
We will be taking one hand to your eyebrow,
The opposite eyebrow,
And soothe around the eyebrow and down the side of the head next to the temple and underneath the eye.
Go slowly and just cross over right at the nose and go up the other eyebrow and outside next to the temple underneath just making a beautiful infinity symbol around your eyes.
A lazy eight on its side.
Go slowly and come down the outside of the eye soothing that area.
This invites us into a state of letting go and while we do this just begin to take some deep breaths.
You may even feel yourself wanting to release the breath with a sigh.
We're just slowing down and letting the nervous system know that we're safe and that everything is okay.
It's alright to release and let go.
Good.
Now as you release your hand,
Filter your attention into your heart space and invite yourself to go inward in the center of your chest.
Your innate healing intelligence knows exactly where the center of your heart is.
And as you put your focus there,
Just note that feeling of perhaps a sense of finding a connection,
A peace,
Like coming home.
Wonderful.
Now I invite you to call in a healing ring of light above your head and this beautiful ring of light you might imagine it.
Some people might see it.
Others may just feel it and some of us just know we trust that it's there.
It might be a certain color and I invite you to ask this ring of light to bring you the energy that you most need in this time,
In this space.
For your highest and greatest good.
And the beautiful ring of light begins to spin and as it spins it begins to come down toward your head and as it comes down it tips down on the crown of the head and becomes larger.
It goes down over the forehead in the back of the head and every place and space that this beautiful ring of light touches,
It brings a sense of softness and release and letting go.
This ring of light keeps spinning down around our head as it comes down over the eyebrows and temples,
Sensing that area that we just stimulated.
We invite in that sense of taking in what we need so the eyes can let go,
The brain can soften and the ring begins to drop down over our cheeks and our ears.
Inviting a softening down into the mouth as the tongue releases into the bottom of the palate.
The jaw softens as this spinning orb of light makes its way down to the chin and to the base of the skull.
And we're going to invite this light to spin here for just a moment,
Taking all of our awareness to the base of the skull where we hold a lot of tension.
And we're inviting this healing ring of light to just sense that area and give it exactly what it needs to let go.
And this beautiful ring of light begins to make its way to your neck and as it comes down the column of the neck it begins to open that whole area that is our throat center.
Opening any energy that may be stuck there.
As this spinning orb goes all the way down to the base of the neck it rests on the shoulders and begins to widen out doing its healing work on those shoulders.
Inviting the shoulders to let go,
To melt,
To soften.
And as we sense,
See,
Or feel this ring of light begin to spill over into the upper arms we sense it coming into the upper chest,
The upper back as well.
And this healing ring of light comes down over the collarbones and down the upper arms inviting that whole heart space to open.
Inviting an opening in the lower chest,
Noting the area where the torso and the arm connects,
Important energetic area.
Our arm crease as it goes further down it also opens there to feel the spinning orb of light melting tension between the shoulder blades and then right in the center of the heart.
This light keeps coming down to our elbows as it sinks down into the middle torso between the low ribs and the middle back.
Just notice what that area feels like as it's being filled,
Softened,
Opened.
And we invite this orb of light to keep spinning just like a hula hoop would spin down our lower arms and into our waist and navel area.
Softening,
Softening,
Opening that whole navel center and the ring keeps going down into that whole area in the torso.
So we feel that sense of release in the belly and the sacral area at the back.
It's a wonderful energy release there all the way down to the floor of the pelvis.
An area that can help us let go.
And this healing orb of light comes all the way down to our wrists now as we take a moment just to sense the shoulders,
The arms,
The torso front and back filled with this beautiful healing energy.
And invite the orb of light to come over the buttocks.
And as we come into the thighs and the upper groins we also come into the wrists and the hands.
Feeling the palms of the hands all the way to the fingertips releasing.
All the way down the thighs.
This ring of light moves around both legs.
Releasing anything that's no longer needed from the hands,
From the thighs and all the way down to the knees.
Can you sense this ring of light encircling the knees?
Inviting a release.
And invite the ring of light to keep going downward down into the forelegs,
The calves and the shins.
As it spins along you might feel tingling.
And let this orb of light shimmy all the way down to the ankles.
Encircling the ankles so you feel the whole of the legs letting go.
And let this beautiful ring of light slip over the tops of the feet,
The soles of the feet,
The toes.
Invite it to stay there for just a moment.
Inviting the feet to open and release.
And sense the spinning orb of light below your feet now.
Just like it was above your head but into the earth.
Spinning below your feet.
Still doing its job like magnetic pull.
The earth.
We're asking her to just be magnetic and pull any tension down.
Anything we no longer need or want.
It's not a story but just a sensation of letting go.
As this healing orb of light,
This ring of light moves into the earth that will go deeper and deeper and deeper down into the earth.
Tethering us and connecting us with the sacred mother earth.
We invite her to help us to ground.
To ground into the full potential of our own light and love into our lives and into our bodies.
And as we feel this beautiful orb of light connected to mother earth now.
We ask the earth to bring energy back up into our bodies and all the way to our heart.
So pull the energy back up.
This time it's a beautiful,
Mmm,
Solid feeling.
Grounded feeling.
Earthy energy.
Soft and beautiful.
Feel it at the soles of your feet as it begins to tingle and pull it up the legs with your attention.
Make contact with your tailbone and pull it up,
Up,
Up your spine and right into your heart space.
Right into the center of the center of your chest.
And notice how it combines with the light from above and it also combines with our own heart light.
And notice if you can sense the radiant quality of your whole body vibrating with this light now.
Just let it go all the way to the top of your head and down your arms and fingers.
All the way.
Filling every iota of your being with the sacred light.
Your own heart light.
And I invite you now to dive deeper inward into your heart space.
I invite you to ask to go into the tiny space within your heart.
We're moving inward now.
And however you experience that is fine.
You may even feel like you're moving a bit.
Dive into the sacred space.
And I will give you a few minutes to rest here before we come to completion.
And I invite you now to begin to come back slowly.
Beginning to breathe more deeply.
Inviting yourself back into your physical form.
And bring the hands to the heart space.
Bring your chin to your chest.
Invite your third eye to connect with this beautiful sacred heart space.
And may this heart space lead us,
Guide us,
Direct us and protect us.
