Begin by adjusting your body to a comfortable position.

Bring your attention into your whole body,
Inviting it to release.
Simply experiencing this moment of your body and your breath.
Letting the whole body know that you are safe and you can relax now.
Breathing deeply as you begin to notice the breath at the nostrils.
Breath moving in and out.
Now begin to trace the breath from the nostrils down into the tongue.
All of the attention now on your tongue.
Beginning to notice the sensations of the tongue.
As you invite the tongue to relax in the floor of the mouth.
Just resting your attention at the tongue.
Getting so comfortable now.
As you move your attention down the throat.
Releasing all of the sensations in the throat,
Inviting any tension to release.
All of your attention at the throat.
Begin to drop your attention now down to the heart.
Whole body releasing now as you place your attention at your heart center.
Breathe as if you were breathing right into the sacred heart.
Our minds think,
But our hearts know.
Take a deep breath as you breathe out,
Ask your heart to help you completely relax so you can ease into sleep.
Declare this as an intention.

And as we let go of the conscious breath,
Begin to move your attention down along your spine to your tailbone.
Continuing down the legs to the soles of the feet.
The soles of the feet.
Now sending down anchor cords from the soles of your feet deep within Mother Earth.
Keep going all the way down to the heart of Mother Earth.
Feeling what you sense here,
Perhaps feeling very supported,
Very loved.
This deeply grounding Earth energy begins to rise up all the way to the sole of your left foot as you relax all the muscles in the left leg.
Completely relaxing now,
All the muscles in the left leg letting go.
As you sense a warm wave of relaxing energy begin to pour into the sole of the left foot,
Coming up through the left ankle and calf,
All the way up to the left thigh.
Completely relaxing every muscle,
Every tissue down to the cells and bones.
Letting go.
This relaxing wave moving up to your hips now.
Relaxing deeply as this warm wave of energy flows down into your right leg.
Feel this wave as it penetrates your right leg into the right thigh and calf.
All the way down and through your right foot and toes as this relaxing warm wave softens every muscle,
Every tissue down to every cell and even the bones in both legs letting go.
So relaxed.
This relaxing wave of energy flowing through both legs now.
Both legs feeling very heavy,
Anchored as if they were weighted.
Beginning to sense this relaxing flow wrapping around your pelvis and low back.
Every muscle letting go as this warm relaxing wave wraps around your navel and your waist and up to your middle back and low ribs.
All the internal organs letting go.
Moving up now to your heart,
Softening your chest and your upper back as you feel this warm relaxing flow encircling your collarbones.
Breathing easily as you sense all the internal organs letting go.
Letting go.
Whole torso so relaxed.
Every muscle,
Every tissue down to the cells and even the bones letting go.
Torso feeling so heavy.
Heavy like steel.
The back body anchored as if it were weighted.
Relaxing now as you sense yourself moving deeper and deeper into a state of release.
This warm relaxing energy begins to wrap around your shoulders now.
Your shoulders releasing any tension.
All stress rolling off of your shoulders as you let go.
This relaxing wave begins to travel down your left arm now to your elbow,
To your forearm and wrist down to the palm of the hand and all the way through to the fingertips.
Whole left arm heavy now.
So heavy.
Completely letting go.
So soft as you sense this warm relaxing energy flowing across the collarbones and down your right arm.
All the way through to your elbow,
To your right forearm and wrist,
To the palm of your right hand and through to the fingertips.
Feeling every muscle now as you feel this warm soothing energy flow from both shoulders down both arms to the palms of the hands,
The palms of the hands and all the way through to the fingertips.
So relaxed,
All the muscles in the arms letting go.
Both arms so heavy,
Anchored as if they were weighted.
From your shoulders begin to sense this warm relaxing wave wrap around the column of your neck.
Feel this energy as it begins to flow up the back of the head,
Behind the ears and into the scalp.
Just letting go.
Going up and over the crown of the head now to the forehead,
Into the temples,
Into the eyes.
Eyes becoming very heavy and relaxed as the eyes sink downward toward the heart.
This warm relaxing wave of energy softens all the muscles of the face.
Cheek softening,
Jaw softening,
Tongue releasing.
This warm relaxing energy flowing through your throat,
Down your neck and flowing back to your heart.
Heart open,
Receiving,
Sensing this deep state of peace and ease within the heart.
Become aware of the body breathing easily now.
Breathing so easily as you move deeper and deeper into a state of letting go.

Feel the whole body becoming so heavy and relaxed.
Letting everything go as you descend deeper and deeper into a quiet state.
Now sensing a luminous white gold light gently raining down from above.
This light coming in,
Around and through you.
Begin to sense this light as it rains down on the palms of your hands.
The palms of your hands.
Raining down on your whole body now.
Create this light to surround you.
To encapsulate you in a safe cocoon of light and love energy.
So safe.
You may notice the whole body feeling very light.
Light like it's floating.
Light like fluffy white clouds in a clear blue sky.
Very light.
Floating now.
Like a helium balloon.
Lighter and lighter as if you were floating on a magic carpet.
So carefree.
So relaxed.
Feeling very safe.
And comfortable.
There is absolutely nowhere to go.
Nothing to do.
Simply just relaxing into a state of being.
Being openness itself.
Being pure awareness.
Body,
Mind and spirit ready to deeply journey into sleep.

Calm,
