This meditation practice blankets you with healing golden light that can assist you to rest well and sleep soundly. The slow body scan allows time to relax and let go. It is wonderful to use when recovering from illness. It will help soothe the nervous system, assisting you to feel safe and secure when recovering from trauma, addiction or anxiety disorder. Transcript

Let's begin in a comfortable position.

Taking time to adjust yourself so you're perhaps 5 to 10% more comfortable.

Begin to take some deep breaths into your heart space.

As you deepen your breath,

Presencing yourself within your body.

Allowing the tension from the day to just fall away.

Letting the belly expand and contract on the inhale and exhale.

Begin to drop your attention from your heart space to your spine and downward.

Moving down the spine to the tailbone.

Moving down the legs to the soles of the feet.

Moving earth quarts energetically from the soles of the feet into the earth.

Like an anchor line.

Moving deep within Mother Earth.

Grounding.

Begin to move your attention back into your body and all the way up to your heart.

Finding that desire in your heart setting your intention for this practice.

It could just simply be,

I rest soundly tonight.

Wonderful.

Feeling the whole of your body now.

We invite in golden light to come down above our head and drop down in a big cylinder around our body.

Completely filling the space around you.

Becoming a pod of light like a capsule surrounding you.

It's open.

It's energetic.

There's no walls.

Just feel the comfort of this golden light.

This healing pod.

It's there.

And as you're resting in this light you begin to notice sparkling golden white light begins to fill this pod.

All around the body.

Golden white light from the crown of the head all the way down to your toes.

Now bringing your awareness to the crown of the head.

See feel or just know that you have a golden highlighter to outline the edge of the body.

And from the crown of the head we come down the side of the head with this highlighter.

Down the neck.

Over the shoulder.

And down one arm.

And around each finger.

Up into the armpit.

Down along the side body.

And just continue to highlight the body.

Bringing all the way down to the legs.

And once the legs are done just coming back up the other side.

And the arm and fingers.

Feel the body beginning to glow as the highlighter moves up to the shoulder.

The neck and the head.

And you feel completely connected with this golden light.

Now a beautiful warm liquid of golden light begins to spill over the front of your body.

Coming over the top of the head too.

Relaxing everything on the face.

This soothing magical warm liquid begins to go over the forehead to the temples to the eyes.

Relaxing down into the cheeks.

Into both ears.

And as we notice the breath at the nostrils it comes over the lips.

Relaxing the jaw.

And down to the throat.

Spilling over the shoulders.

The arms.

The front of the chest.

Like a warm blanket.

Golden.

Healing.

Moving down to the elbows.

Down to the middle.

Ribs.

Down to the forearms.

The navel.

Filling in the waist.

Moving all the way down into the belly.

To the hips.

All the way to the wrist.

As it begins to move into the thighs,

The whole front of the thighs encompassed.

The hands.

The fingers.

Down into the knees.

And forelegs.

Down to the ankles.

And tops of the feet.

Just feel this beautiful blanket of golden liquid completely soothing the entire body.

As we begin to come to the soles of the feet and up the back of the legs.

Into the calves.

Behind the knees.

Into the thighs.

The buttocks.

Right into the tailbone and along the spine as you move up the back.

Filling this whole area with a golden glow.

All the way up between the shoulder blades.

To the back of the neck.

To the base of the skull.

And into the hairline behind the ears.

And all the way up to the crown of the head.

Sensing the whole body.

The whole body.

With this beautiful golden glow.

Begin to invite the body to let go.

It's safe.

It's protected.

Begin to sense the energy in front of the body.

Above the chest.

Sensing this energetic feel to be transformed to the highest vibration of golden light.

For the highest good.

Begin resting back behind the body.

Sensing the whole area behind the body.

Getting it to lighten and brighten.

Moving into the left side of the body.

The energy to the left of the body.

Enjoy this with your perception.

And to the right side of your body.

Sensing the area above your head.

And below your feet.

Safely opening now.

No boundaries.

Just openness.

Allow yourself to experience this sacred oneness.

Rest and sleep well here my friends.

You will be sounds of honor to bring about the exposure to your senses and wooden sounds of your heart.
