Many of us want more discipline in our lives and understand the benefits, yet we sabotage our own journey or lose motivation all too quickly. Often, the reason for this sits in our subconscious when we have built resistance to the idea of discipline - it reminds us of rigidity, punishment, external pressure...often moving us away from our truth rather than towards it.

Small And Steady
So often, we lose motivation when embracing discipline because we had aspirations that were big and bold, but not sustainable. After many years of preferring massive action, I have learned (the hard way) that small and steady is the best way forward for consistent growth...and discipline is no different.
Today, we start committing to our discipline journey in 3-5 small ways. We take it gently, and we start the journey of creating deeply embedded habits for life.

Building Habits

Lesson 4
Discipline Saboteurs
Sometimes, those people closest to us can cause havoc when it comes to wanting to get more disciplined and create new habits to help us create a better future for ourselves. And sometimes, we do ourselves a disservice by wishing everyone would have our best interests at heart.
The reality is, change can be hard for others to see (and support). Friends and family may fear that our growth will leave them behind; they may fear loss. or lack, or the unknown.
Today, we think about the people in our lives and get clear on who our most celebratory cheerleaders are!

Discipline And Your Future Self
Sometimes we struggle with discipline because our vision is not really clear and we are not sure of the deeper 'why'.
Today, as our final day of this mini course, I invite you to go deep within and get clear on your vision. Who do you wish to become or be? What life are you working towards? What are your dreams?
When you get really clear on your truth, the idea of discipline changes form and becomes simply a part of who you are. No more push. No more pull. Just the freedom of flow.
How wonderful is that?!
