Here is a meditation to help you reconnect with your spirit guide.
So closing your eyes,
Allow your body to relax.
Begin by taking in three deep,
Relaxing breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
As you exhale,
Allowing any stress or tension to leave your body.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Releasing any tightness from your head and your neck.
Allowing the tension from your shoulders and arms to release as you allow your hands and fingers to relax.
Allowing this sense of peace to travel down your spine,
Embracing your back,
Your stomach and your hips.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Allowing the tightness from your thighs and calves to release as your feet and toes relax.
Now seeing yourself in a beautiful garden.
This is your inner sanctuary,
A place you can go to at any time for peace,
Relaxation and to connect with your inner self.
So spend a few moments looking around at the beautiful flowers and plants.
As you continue to look around,
You notice that a beautiful golden spiral staircase appears.
You walk towards the staircase and look up.
You can't see the top as it's hidden by a beautiful big white fluffy cloud.
You begin to walk up the staircase,
Feeling each step below your feet.
As you step higher and higher,
You feel a sense of excitement at the prospect of meeting your guide.
As you continue upwards,
You look down and everything appears to be getting smaller.
You reach the cloud and as you walk through the cloud,
You feel a beautiful,
Loving and peaceful energy surrounding you.
You continue upwards and as you do,
You notice now that you are surrounded by a loving golden glow.
This golden energy seems to be a part of you as well as surrounding you.
Looking down now,
You only see the white fluffy cloud.
You reach the top and you step out into a beautiful golden hallway.
There is a vibrancy and loving energy that immediately envelops you,
Making you feel instantly at peace and loved.
You look around and you notice that there are many doors with many different symbols and colours.
Today,
We are going to visit your spirit guide and with that intention,
One door will vibrate or call to you.
You walk to that door and open it,
Excited to meet your spirit guide.
The door opens easily and you immediately recognise your guide.
You're not sure how you recognise them,
But there is a deep knowing from within.
You see that there are two large comfortable sofas for you each to sit on and a crackling fire warming and lighting the room.
You both sit and your guide smiles warmly.

You can't help but smile and a wonderful feeling comes over you.

Protection and deep happiness and love.
You walk towards the stairs and start to descend.
You walk through the big,
Beautiful,
White,
Fluffy cloud and again you feel yourself enveloped in infinite love.
You continue down and as you look at your garden,
You see the beauty from this vantage point.
You eventually get to the bottom and step off the staircase.
As you do,
The staircase disappears.
You're now back in your beautiful garden and somehow the colours seem even more vibrant and beautiful than they did before.
Again,
You smile to yourself,
Reminded that you have this beautiful spirit guide that you can call on at any time for protection and guidance.
With this knowledge and your heart full of love and joy,
You bring your awareness slowly back into the room you're in,
Taking three deep,
Grounding and awakening breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes and opening your eyes when you're ready.
