So let's start relaxing and getting your mind and body ready for sleep.
So I want you to close your eyes and I want you to take three deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
And in through your nose and out through your mouth.
So with your eyes closed,
Let's relax your body.
So feeling your head and your jaw relaxing into the pillow.
Feeling your shoulders relax and your elbows and your hands become heavy in your bed.
Feeling your back and your stomach and your hips sink into your bed.
And letting your knees and your feet and your toes totally relax.
Now with your eyes closed,
I want you to imagine that you're in a beautiful garden.
As you look up,
It is night time.
But there is a full moon so you can see clearly all around you.
You feel safe and secure in this place.
As you continue to look around,
You notice a cloud floating from the sky.
This cloud floats slowly down towards the ground.
It stops just before it touches the ground and you walk on over to it.
You touch the cloud and it's soft and warm.
You climb into the cloud and as soon as you do,
You lie down and feel safe and warm and snuggle into the cloud.
The cloud gently lifts off the ground and you know that you are safe.
It starts to fly up into the sky,
Gently,
Gently climbing higher and higher.
But you feel safe.
This cloud is your cloud.
And the gentle movement of the cloud as it moves up into the sky slowly rocks you to sleep.
You're allowing yourself to drift off to dreamland just as the cloud drifts through the sky.
